It’s Belgium v England in the Nations League on Sunday and you don’t want to miss this EnergyBet price boost available to ALL customers! They’ve enhanced England to beat Belgium from 41/20 to a whopping 35/1, with the extra winnings paid out in bonus funds. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £8.28 and here’s how…
Key Terms:
- Only new customers who sign up via the special promotional link or those who already have an account can qualify by placing their bet between 00:01 on Tuesday 10th November 2020 and 19:45 on Sunday 15th November 2020.
- Minimum deposit of £10.00, to be eligible for this promotion.
- Deposited funds must be wagered at least once on sport before they can be withdrawn.
- We must stake £1.00 on England to win at the standard odds.
- If England win, the additional winnings gained from the 35/1 enhanced odds will be credited as bonus funds.
- Bonus funds must be wagered 3x at odds of 1.75 (3/4) or greater.
Strategy:
This offer is a little different to regular price boosts, but the strategy is still pretty much the same.
If England win, our bet will be paid out in cash at the standard odds of 41/20 and then topped up to 35/1 in bonus funds.
So, the first thing we need to do is work out the effective odds we’re getting on England, taking into account the wagering requirements on the bonus portion of our returns.
If England win, we’ll receive the following…
£3.05 cash
+ £32.95 in bonus funds
= £36.00 in total
Our £32.95 in bonus funds would need to be wagered 3 times at odds of 1.75 (3/4) or greater.
Using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to convert our bonus funds into around 85% cash, so £28.01. For more information on wagering bonuses, please see my Bonus Rollover guide.
£3.05 cash
+ £28.01 (converted from bonus)
= £31.06 total cash
We then just need to divide our total cash by our initial stake to get our effective odds…
£31.06 (total cash) ÷ £1.00 (stake) = 31.06 (effective odds)
At the time of writing, laying our bet with Betfair gives us the biggest guaranteed profit.
Betfair are currently offering new customers 0% commission up to £500 for the first 30 days.
If you’re an existing Betfair customer, you can opt in to pay just 2% commission by selecting their Basic reward plan.
For more information about My Betfair Rewards and how to opt in, please see my Betfair 2% Commission page.
We can calculate our lay stake using my Matched Betting Calculator. We just need to enter our effective odds of 31.06 as our ‘Back odds’…
As you can see, the calculator tells us that our lay stake should be £9.47…
Place £1.00 on England @ 31.06 = Potential profit of £30.06
Lay £9.47 on England @ 3.30 = Potential liability of £21.78
Outcomes:
Let’s have a look at our profit/loss for the two potential outcomes…
Outcome | Bookie Cash | Bookie Bonus | Exchange | Profit/Loss |
---|---|---|---|---|
England win | +£2.05 | +£28.01 | -£21.78 | £8.28 profit |
England don’t win | -£1.00 | +£9.28 | £8.28 profit |
So, regardless of the outcome, we’ll make a guaranteed profit of £8.28 on this EnergyBet Price Boost!
* Belgium won the match 2-0, resulting in a profit of £8.28 on this EnergyBet price boost. *

Guest userQuestion – do you do these energy bet deals. And have you ever had any problems with turning over the bonus?
Reg
Guest userI’ve done 4 of these offers but the Energy bet team has always lost so i don’t know if they work.
I’ve made £50 from my lays though so will keep doing them and see what happens when one comes in.
TheBigA
22Same here, done a few but so far the lays have been winning.

13Same for me, done quite a few, none of the boosted teams have won yet for me. Even if the boosted team was the favourite. As long as deposit before the bet should pay out.
Although still need to wager the deposit before withdrawal, as read they could charge fees if you don’t. Also fees for less than £20 withdrawal. But I haven’t withdrawn yet either.

Guest userSo you always have to deposit £10 before placing the bet? Just I already have over £10 in the account.
Matt
1527That’s correct Liam, these offers require a fresh £10.00 deposit.

Guest userHi Matt, have you been on the live chat with this site and confirmed that this offer applies to all customers and isn’t just a sign up offer, by dumb luck none of these have come good so far so no way of knowing what actually happens in the event of a win.
Matt
1527As far as I’m aware it’s available to all customers Chris. I can only tell you what’s in the terms of the offer.
‘Only newly registered customers who signed up via the special promotional link or those who already have an account.’
Dave
Guest userCorrect me if I am wrong Matt. You just have to try and lose when you wager your winnings and u don’t need to wager your winnings 3 times.
Matt
1527Yes Dave, if you lose your funds to the exchange, then you’re done and there’s no need to place any further bets.
For more info on wagering bonuses, please see my Bonus Rollover guide.

Guest userSo before you place £1 on England to win, you have to wager the deposited £10 first to activate the bonus?
Dave
Guest userYes. That’s what it says on the promo page.

1I wagered £10 before the date and yet any information when I clicked on the bet now link. I also deposited £10 to make sure it actually count as an offer. Hopefully it works?…

Guest userHow do you actually withdraw money from these clowns?
I’ve got £16.90 in the account. I deposited another £10 so that brought it to £26.90. I placed a £10 bet and won that to the exchange.
They keep saying it needs to be a minimum of £20 to with draw, I get that, but if I deposit again they say it needs to be wagered?
How am I to withdraw, it’s like being caught in a loop.
Matt
1527You could place your £16.90 on something with low odds and lay it off at the exchange. If your ‘back’ bet wins, your balance will move above £20.00 so that you can withdraw and if it doesn’t, you’ve moved your funds into the exchange. Anything around 1.20 (1/5) and above would do it.
