Another one bites the dust

  • After an enjoyable 6 months of matched betting I fear my days as a matched bettor may soon be over . 3 in a week, the latest from ladbrokes.
Sorry, tried to copy and paste e mail but rubbish at these sort of things

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Which accounts have you lost Chappers? And can’t you get girlfriend or wife set up instead?

Lost ladbrokes.betfred.totesport this week. And previously PP. Boylesports. 888.coral. I don’t think you can set up again in wife’s name shaun46 cause it’s same address. Would like to be proved wrong though!

There is a thread somewhere which contains partner friendly bookies. Have a search and check it out

Found the thread guys. Very interesting. Gives me some hope. PP. Betfred. Ladbrokes. All possibilities. What’s worse that can happen! They can only refuse.

I’d just love to know what trick I am missing that the admin of this website has up his sleeve. He isn’t banned from any bookie as far as I know – Boylesports are seemingly impossible NOT to get banned from. There must be some sort of trick. I bet 7 bets with them and lost 6 with an overall net loss of 37 quid. Still got banned.

    Indeed! Matt. Explain!

I would assume Matt only does the offers he blogs about. Not getting greedy is the key. No 2nd place horses, no enhanced odds, not betting on random football leagues, no arbing and staying under the radar. I do agree though you guys getting banned from Boyle does seem a little fishy. Maybe they are facing cut backs in staff in the new year and risk management team are trying to justify their jobs. Who knows…

What makes you say no 2nd place horses? surely regular punters like to have a bet on the favourite….and when it comes 2nd well hey im sure the bookies prefer to pay out a free bet then cough up the winnings!

What I can’t understand is why bookies have a problem with matched bettors. They would lose a ton of business if they banned them all. And our objective is to make them money as we’d rather win lay bets than back bets.
    Surely they should embrace us

Well the way I see it is we’re basically betting with them risk free….so eventually we could win a massive bet and it hasn’t cost us anything. mehhh its a tough one!

I say no 2nd place horses because bookies like pp offer it every day, if you bet on every race as well as partaking in every offer then in my eyes you are showing the bookie that you are only betting on the promotions. If you are selecting races that only have 6-8 runners then you are showing the bookie you are only betting for the win/refund. If I was a bookie and looking at your bets then I would think something is iffy. Let’s face it, the majority of bettors only bet in store (in my eyes anyway) so betting these bets draws attention to yourself which is the opposite of what you want. Am quite drunk atm. Hope that makes sense but that is my opinion. I also agree banning match bettors is losing funds in the long run but they don’t like folk exploring the bonuses

Few weeks ago, I started doing 2nd horse bet with paddy. One day I did all 6-7 of its races, I think all on favourites. Got £50 free bet but got banned the very same day…there are money to be made on 2nd horse racing but best combined with other bookies promo
Even though we matched bettor tries to lose money and hope the money go to exchange by picking tighter but higher odd, but there are possibilities of winning that occasional high winning which happened to me with Ladbroke yesterday with a horse race using a £25 free bet and guess what I received that dreaded email from Ladbroke today….
