Bet365 Channel 4/1+ plus enhanced e/w terms

Channel 4 races today on Bet365.

But also have a look at the 1:20 they have enhanced e/w terms, paying out 1/4 odds on a place instead of 1/5. This means that you can get good value if you make your qualifying bet an e/w bet for the Free bet if you Win.

Eg.

Ebtihal
Back £50 to win @7.0
Lay £47.16 @7.6

QL = £4.75

But bet e/w instead.
Back £50 e/w @ 7.0 (=>2.5 for the place at enhanced 1/4 odds)
Lay £47.16 @7.6 on win market.
Lay £52.08 @ 2.42 on to place market (notice the arb on the place price?).

QL = £3.71

Anyway, you get the idea, hopefully turn this into qualifying profit closer to the off when the odds tighten up.

Midhamer is 21.0/23.0 to win 6.0/4.7 to place. You can make a profit on that, not sure how much you will get matched @4.7 though.

Okay, I finally matched Ebtihaal for qualifying profit for the 4/1 offer.

Midhmaar looks like he placed in 3 of his last 6, definitely look like value (going by exchange price), might just have a £5 e/w punt on him.

It doesn’t look dodgy having a bet on a couple of horses on the same race? Or is that a nice mug thing to do?

am i right in thinking for the 1:50 its paying 4 places? can lay on smarkets against top 2.. QL may be more but your more likely to hit 3rd/4th? thoughts? thanks in advance 🙂

Paying 4 places would be crazy, there are only 6 horses in the race!

What I am seeing is Each Way 1/4 1-2. So it looks like 2 places to me.

The other enhanced terms races for Bet365 are Sandown 3.30 5.05 and 4.35 – no extra place, just 1/4 instead of 1/5 I think.
