…but for this week’s Capital One Cup games:

Undoubtedly a tricky one to nail, but could be very profitable if you do!

Betting on 0-0 guarantees a HT draw so you can safely up your lay:

    Bet £10 on 0-0 at 10/1
Lay £8.81 to cover initial bet (~£1.40 loss)
Lay £6.41 to cover additional winnings (assuming 80% SNR bet)

    Profit ~£5

    Hi guys

    Say it’s 1-1 at HT.
    Double odds are on.
Can we lay this at half time for a gauranteed profit?

    Cheers

Dont know about gay renters profit haha ;) but for guaranteed profit yes you can, I did this the other day and gutted I didnt have time to get on this one because I probably would have went for 2-1 depending on odds.

Just lay the correct score bet for whatever amount you want to take if it doesnt come in. Obviously take into account how much the liability will reduce your winnings if the correct score bet does win. (I did £10 which left me with £20ish profit if my bet won the other day)

I think so pbetts, I went 2-1 so still on. 4.8 lay odds on Smarkets, I reckon £15.60 lay will return £15.60 guaranteed profit.

However, will see if someone with more experience can back that up.

Ah, but winnings paid in free bets so either £15.60 (Not 2-1) or £12 (ish) after extraction if ends up 2-1

I’ve underlaid it slightly for £12 at 4.7. think it works out £30ish quid if it’s 2-1 or 11ish if it isnt

Had 2-1 also, managed to lay £50 at 2.22 a couple of minute before the third goal went in

So a simple lay would’ve done on this one?
Missed out as I’m a newbie but better than jumping in and getting burnt.
That newbie with his dollars in winner is really struggling!!!

Place your Sportsbook bet first, I got price rushed(!) by Betfair which increased my odds on 2-0 from 8.5 to 9. Layed @ 10 on Smarkets.

So if it’s 2-0 after being 0-0 at half time you it will return 70 profit plus 70 free bet. Worth 70 + 56 = 126..

You can get 22/1 on paddy for 0-0/2-0.

So the same bet would cost £5.47 on paddy.

But it only cost you £1.16.

    So you did good!

Sorry just going through the value on this one. It does seem quite profitable …

Wouldn’t 0-0/0-0 pay back the same as 0-0/2-0 but 8/1 chance of coming in instead on 22/1 chance (twice as likely).

Even if it costs me a little more to lay? Is it worth it?

    Think I’m going for 0-0.
