Any issues with backing on the sports book and laying off on the Betfair exchange in terms of gubbing/restricting?

Yes, lay with Smarkets. Not worth the risk.

My wife has just signed up to Betfair, I had read it is OK to have multiple accounts with Betfair on the same IP address. Would it be a bad move to both do the Man Utd Southampton offer?

I got away with it for a good while and both me and the, erm, missus got gubbed at different times. Fecked now though.

Hmm worth a try then, just a risk that they keep your balance for duplicate accounts.

I read it on a thread on here, title Partner or same address friendly bookies 6/12/15, just google search it. Pretty much did it on that basis.

“All customer offers are limited to one per person, family, household address, email address, telephone number, same payment account number (e.g. debit or credit card, Neteller etc), and a shared computer e.g. public library or workplace.”

I’ve queried this directly with Betfair before, and what they said was basically that as long as you’re not placing bets in such a way to guarantee profits between your two accounts then its ok – so if you’re placing the same bets on each account it shouldn’t be a problem. This was a year or two ago, but i can’t imagine their position would have changed

Yes looking at the T&C’s it appears offers are only available to one account, but I believe they are partner friendly in that you can open 2 accounts from same address for the sign up offer and normal betting.

Don’t forget. Under/Over goals markets are pretty good matches

I got too excited when I saw an arb and didn’t end up making a qualifying profit. Should have waited until HT! Ah well, is f all in the grand scheme. Fantastic offer this. 40 quid at least for f all.
