Felt – I’m not sure if I was lucky but I must have put 6 or 7 large bets on these specials (at least two came in, maybe three) before I was heavily restricted, so fingers crossed, you’ll last a little longer!
+0Guys, what stakes are we talking here, i have a fresh betfair account that is banned from promotions, but it seemingly has big limits for betting
My plan was to build my bankroll high enough and at the right point, smash the edge (hopefully when the edge buzz has dropped – but no doubt restrictions would happen anyway)
A few seconds would be huge profits and make burning the the account so worthwhile, talking thousands obviously

Both the Edge and this there is a case of luck required no matter what the stakes, I believe. My account is already limited from general arbing but this fluctuates wildly day by day. Managed a few hundred on the above and layed off a full point and a bit below (worked out roughly 5/3.9) so underlay win is a fair whack. Plus, and I’m only speculating from other members (see thread) that unrestricted you could get a full K on these and survive to try and hit more whereas the Edge seems an insta-0-limit nowadays.

I bet on 8 doubles in April/May with an average stake of £700ish.. Two of which came in.
I was doing Edge at the same time.
By mid-May (and a weekend of two seconds on Edge and a double coming in) I was heavily restricted but can still can still get £100odd on a double (unless it’s very long odds!)..
By the way, it’s been said before but a non-runner would be a problem, if one horse wins and the other is a non-runner, I think the terms say that they’ll pay out at SP on the winner! It didn’t put me off but if you’re betting £1k and that happens you could easily lose a few hundred.
+0for a fresh account that has only ever done the £25 3/1 offers (might have lost a few quid on casino mind to look like the mug but that didnt help keep the account lol)
then after being dormant for two months, suddenly going back on and smashing the edge and the doubles for big money might get flagged up too quick
maybe i should lump on a few short price football games with tight odds first, but whether that gets the account put to onside (like put on the mug pile lol) and not reviewed for a while who knows
