Betstars champions league offer

  • If ive read this correctly this could be a very good offer. Im looking particularly at the match result and both teams to score bit. Im not sure if they mean one market or if its two different ones. Think ill prob pick another market just to be sure.

Get money back as a Free Bet up to $/£/€25 on selected markets if your Pre-Match bet on the Champions League Round of 16 loses.

    How it works

Place a Pre-Match bet on one of First Goalscorer, Last Goalscorer, Correct Score, HT/FT, Match Result and Both Teams To Score markets on any of the Champions League fixtures and if your match ends in a draw, we’ll refund losing bets with a Free Bet up to $/£/€25

It’s blogged on the main page, ive gone for it but I have laid the draw to make it risk free potential profit.

So did you underlay your back bet?

I think its Match result & BTTS market no them individually! I also will be doing what dbb suggests…back and lay your chosen market for say £2.50 loss…therefore if its a draw you get your £25 free bet assume £20 extraction – £2.50 = £17.50 profit if its a draw or -£2.50 on any other out come. You therefore lay the draw for your loss in this case £2.50/.98 to take into account commission resulting in a stake of £2.55. Now as it stands if its a draw you’ll profit around £11ish depending on draw odds but if its not a draw you lose nothing making it risk free.

Personal preference really as this is open for all 4 games so if none of them is a draw you would be around £10 down…but obviously the more draws the more profit.

cheers for the suggestion about laying the draw in the main blog comments by the way RyanB, wouldn’t have thought of it myself.

The benfica match was a bit of a pain to find a good qualifier for, ended up doing correct score 2-1

Not a problem Dbb it probably ends up similar in the long run but if we assume £2.50 loss each game if none end in a draw a £10 loss isn’t great! The beauty also is if you struggle to get a good qualifying loss you can still take part in the offer it just means you’ll get less profit if its a draw but at least there is no risk!

I’ve gone for the no risk option for tonights fixtures and layed off the draw for both. Safety first and all that!

I did the same mate, fingers crossed for a draw! Also got 2-1 PSG on my betfair double odds so going well!

Fingers crossed! Would be a lovely treat. I’d previously left these offers as they seemed unnecessarily complex, but took some time today to get my head around them and the risk free option!

I think it works out to be a little over £10 profit if its a draw, obviously depending on the qualifying loss you got and the amount you had to lay on the draw. But still, wouldn’t complain off a free tenner!

Half tempted to grab the guarenteed profit now by laying the draw a tad more on both games.

Unlucky Pickle! Looks like there were more yellow/red cards in that match than shots on target too :(
