Betstars – international friendlies – £25 back if draw

  • Germany and England is a good chance for a draw I think. Pick a qualifying bet that doesn’t give a draw, so something like Germany/Germany for HT/FT….

Best I can currently find is Germany/Germany 2.75/3.15…..£3.50 loss. Not sure whether to do it, can obviously make it risk free by laying the draw but that really reduces pretty much all the profit.

Almost forgot about this, I took 2.5/2.8 yesterday. The odds on Germany winning have drifted since then hence the poor lay. Not sure why though.

Im struggling to think of a reason to do this and not even a good reason.

Just put the quali loss on a draw lay. Risk free shot at £10.

Might do the same but 2.8/3.2 is £3.43 loss.
Lay draw £3.50@3.9 = Liability of £10.15 loss.

Assume £20 from £25 free bet = £6.42 profit….think you might have forgot your initial qualifying loss to get a risk free £10?

i went for it and stuck my bets in last night, think it was about £3.70 qualifying loss.

only going to lay the draw if the odds are worth it at half time

Dier costing me £50 with this and a £10 punt on a draw with Betbright free bet…

Ryan, the £3.50 initial loss is part of the liability is it not?

    +0
    RyanB 16

No? I don’t think so….you lose £3.50 betting on whatever….then when you lay the draw you are covering that £3.50 so if its not a draw you break even. If it is a draw you lose both liabilities…?

As in you lose the £3.50 & also lose £10 whatever because of the draw..? pretty sure that’s right hence there was only like £6.50 in this not the £10

Don’t think so Ryan. If it ain’t a draw then you lose nothing, so the qualifier doesn’t exist. Instead it forms the liability.

So lost can someone please clear it up. From my point of view you do the qualifier which was probably Germany/Germany and lost £3.50.

You lay £3.57 on the draw to cover that loss so a liability of £10 for example.

    If its not a draw you win £3.57 * .98 = £3.50 – £3.50 = 0.

If it is a draw you lose the £10 AND you lose £3.50 for doing a back and lay on Germany/Germany? Surely I have go that right??

    So I am correct?

Ryan is correct. Initial qualifying loss is locked in regardless of the outcome. Then if it is a draw you lose that lay too.
