Yeah Doz. No good for me either. Very few goals, and only once got a multiplier, my record on multipliers is something like 1,1,1,1,1.5,1,1.

Its a good enough offer and remember if you win you get a free bet for sure (because to win you have to score a goal). So that somewhat makes up for the £2 you’re losing to the jackpot contribution fund…
Arsenal odds are 2.38 so taking account for the £2 fee and at least one free bet gives effective odds = ((2.38*18)+4)/20 = 2.34 (unless you get a multiplier).
Lay is 2.48. So QL is £1.36.
So you are paying £1.36 and should make a profit if:
1. You spin some decent odds (33% chance)
2. Arsenal scoring more than 1 (bookie offering evens on Arsenal 2+ so decent chance)
3. Scoring but not winning.+0I look at it slightly differently. I assume I’m going to get a x1 multiplier. I work out effective odds, per your example, as 2.38*18/20 and lay on that basis (2.142). Usually the qualifying loss is about £2.50 although it’s slightly higher at £2.93 in this example.
One goal is minor profit (around £1.50) and multiple goals is a better profit (over £5.50).
Once in a while we’ll get a good spin at the start which sets us off with an arb. Somone on here will get a x10 soon.

Yep, fancy I’ll give it another go for Arsenal V CFC, as you say Fog_Blog, we only need one goal to scrape a little profit and one of these days a team will rattle in a few goals and like albatross said that will hopefully be the day we also spin a x10 (and I secretly like the buzz of the spin as well – I have had 1.5 once otherwise all 1s !!)

This is a good offer, but I think Poker Stars are being canny with the match selections though. The other night was a good example, free-scoring Barcelona, but up against one of the most effective defenses in Europe, who just seem to have their number.

Bet Arsenal @2.38. Spin came up with 1.5 (first time in 5), but enhanced odds came up with 3.07. Expecting 3.57 (2.38×1.5). Why the difference?.

Had Arsenal myself tonight and only got x1 odds so a fair qualifying loss. Not sure if anyones mentioned it but a Chelsea clean sheet was @ 4.8 so £1 on that wiped out the qualifying loss had Arsenal not scored.
