Betway Lost Today.

  • Do loads with them outside of Cheltenham, two days of £20 free Bets and they bin me, bookies are so quick to press the button these days.

Anyone know what they are like for same surname/address accounts?

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

They shut down my second attempt at an account really snappily. And that was different surname, different address, different IP address, only ever used on a separate mobile phone on 4G. So maybe it wasn’t linked. But they were quick to gub.

Like what do they expect during Cheltenham? Why would I put a bet on somewhere that doesn’t have an offer when I can do it at somewhere that does? They obviously realise they’re in competition with each other, hence the offers.

@orlandosteve they are fine same address, same surname done those accounts 3 times in total but lost them all now. Get what you can when you can though.

You managed to set up same name and address with them? How long did they last for?

I have 3 betway accounts, my main one was gubbed after doing a few free bet per goal. The other 2 i’ve not used before chelt and been doing their money back and haven’t been gubbed yet, cant imagine it’ll last much longer. I use a vpn on different users, with different addresses for each account.

They stealth gub and lie that they sent an email. I’m threatening to take them to small claims court over £15 free bet not given. Saying they don’t treat customers fairly.

just threaten that you’ll make a claim to the gambling commission and I.B.A.S sleepless, they’ll soon cough up as they would rather keep you happy than have a case opened against them.

They claimed they had sent me an email too when i never got bog one time (they never).

That said, have been getting the free bets each day, making sure i ‘mug bet ‘at least once.

Like their £5 free bet per goal offer so going to skip their offer tomorrow to try and prolong the account…:)

So only I got gubbed today! I feel so honoured!

I placed my race first and ladt bets before the e mail, I also placed an Acca Sunday gone that qualified for their bet club. If they don’t honour those free bets I will be kicking off.

i really dont understand this. whats the point of shouting about an offer then gubbing if people take it up.
ive only lost 4 accounts so far over about 12 months – betway going after only 3 weeks and when my balance was -200. pretty typical from what i read.

I signed up yesterday, first account. Allowed me to deposit the £50 then asked for age verification. Submitted it, processed then it took me to a dead page (had two URL, no pictures). Went on live chat to check if I was verified and they told me my account was closed and I’d get a refund, decision made by ‘top management’. I have IESnare blocked and no duplicate accounts… Never had that happen before but definitely fishy (this is after by jammy 50/1 Lebaik win with Skybet, only bookie I’m gubbed with is Betfair sportsbook).

brantom – I’ll threaten to do both, just to make them work for the £15fb, haha. TCF (treating customers fairly) is a better route than IBAS IMO.

Had a Google after my Betway incident, appears they have many unhappy customers where they have refused to pay in various scenarios.

I have some winnings (non-bonus) in a second (the wife’s) Betway account. If i do get gubbed will they return that money? Surely they can’t just keep it??? I would just try and lose it all to the exchange but knowing my luck i would just end up winning and moving more to the betway account. Anybody got any experience of this please?

No all done through 4g on mobile going direct through their website. My account is gubbed so opened new one using the wife’s details. Same surname/address and different bank details. Any thoughts on what happens to the balance if they use the gubbing stick?
