  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Hi Yes this also happened to me. Its a lot of nonsense. Restricted right away. I agree this is a fantastic blog but I have sincere doubts as to anyone could have won over £9000 on these offers. Because without a doubt you will get gubbed at some point on your good accounts. And no way can you make the figures bandied about. Short term maybe and then you get gubbed and then your profits go down the toilet. No-one here will be making up to £500 month in and month out for over a year. I do not believe that is now possible.

Out of interest, what bet did you do? Was it the £40 inplay bet via mobile for the £20 free bet? Did you deposit exactly £40? There must be something which made them identify you..

After all, they can’t be very sustainable if they ban new customers without a good assessment that they could be a match better.

I’m glad it’s not just me I think it’s way over the top and there is no way they could know I was a matched better from just 1 bet I placed 2 days ago….hm yeah I think it could be tricky getting around £500 a month too

Perrybhoy, i think youll find you’re very mistaken. I believe there is probably alot of people on this blog who are close to a year. Me personally have been doing it on and off since May I had big gap from July – September and im up over £3,000 so far I have lost Paddy Power (which is quite a big loss) and boyle sport which i dont give a fuck about. Other than that still got all my big boy accounts *touch wood*

Walka out of interest what was your first bet?

I’d never go straight into a new account on an offer with the red warning bookies. The sign up bonus yes, but never anything else.

Boyles are NOTRIOUS for restricting accounts, people need to research who they’re signing up with to have a head’s start. There are a lot of reviews on betting websites if you google them.

I’ve had my Boyles accounts for ages now and do most of the offers but also do mug bets too. Some people don’t believe in mug betting but it’s funny because these are the same people with limited / restricted / accounts

It was for the £40 for £20 offer but I don’t understand because before Knew about matched betting I would do offers like that?just seems harsh after 1 bet they assumed I was match betting?slightly over the top!i didn’t even win my first bet with them?doesnt make any sense…

Definitely not one of the main bookies for matched betting but annoying nevertheless and we should help prevent each other getting restricted. Obviously, every penny does count in this game.

Boylesports certainly has a reputation to ban people quite easily. In my personal opinion, I think that their offers are quite hidden (i.e not advertised when looking on a pc and only available for mobile users). I was only made aware of their offers through this website. The fact you did the maximum allowed and your first bet was on a mobile could have helped them identify you as a matched better? That is a complete guess though.

I’ve never been banned from any of my main accounts but I wondered whether it’s worth while you emailing them to delete all your account/personal information, which they should do as part of the data protection act, request confirmation of the deletion.. Then look to maybe resign up in a years time. Thoughts?

Yeah it’s annoying them football offers are great. The thing is I haven’t received an email about this?it was only when I went to place a I play bet on the man united game that I found out. This is only my 2nd bookie to ban me (betway) was the other which I’m not fussed about. So you reckon send them a email asking them to delete my information as they have to do that?surely they would just say they have done and then don’t to prevent another account being open though?
Thanks for your inputs everyone this forum is great!

You obviously can’t just tell them to delete your info and create another account otherwise they could never ban anyone…
