Channel 4 Racing – 06/02/16

Thought I’d make a thread for this in advance of tomorrow’s 2nd place offers. Use this thread for tips and boosts that come around mid morning usually! Someone warned against tips last week, but on this offer we are generally betting on fairly low odds horses to better our chances, so there is no way we will impact on the market enough for bookies to notice (as majority of mug betters will be betting on exactly the same horses)

As long as we don’t lose another Sky is still on. Mine with 365 is off with rule 4 reduction knocking it below 4/1.

matchbetter as described above..bet365 offer is off. So annoying all these non runners makes it complicated with the deduction of winnings but I suppose it should even itself out with the exchange.

Does that mean if my bet365 horse wins it will not be paid at the odds i took? I took a bet on Crispy (lol) at 4/1, but it dropped at 3/1 … Should the horse win, what price will be paid?

Read rule 4. Your odds get reduced but at the exchange also so if it does win you will be paid out at new odds, but you will also have a reduced liability so it should technically end up the same result. Unfortunately you now won’t qualify for the 2nd place refund or bet365 4/1 winner.

You won’t be paid at 4/1, I think it’s a 20% reduction? Also no longer qualify for the offer – “The 4/1 limit refers to the adjusted odds after any dead-heat, Rule 4…”

On the plus side, the reduced odds make for a slightly beter guaranteed profit with the sky offer if you lay the fav.
