I picked the wrong horse on both my £50 bets with bet365, but adopted FoG’s “Option 4” approach, so took out £6 profit (arb on second race) and hopefully endeared myself with bet365 with the losses. Managed to earn the 2nd place free bet from Ladbrokes and Totesport.
Just so I know for the future (in case I win one!), do they tell you if you’ve qualified for the follow-up risk-free bet, or is there a risk that you’ve been gubbed and the bet won’t be risk-free after all?

arb, 365 send you an email if the next race for the offer is the next week, not sure about the next day. They definitely don’t if its the next race though.
I had an ok day, a few each way arbs and the lads MBS for the 3.10.
Hopefully tomorrow will be better, lots of bookies going extra places for the Cesarewitch.

Yeah tomorrow should be good, seven races on Channel 4 so Bet365 and WH will have them covered. Ladbrokes bound to have an offer too.

Dammit! I’m so used to them saying “win part only” I didn’t think to check. oh well, at least I made a few imperial credits on the arb.

+0Thanks again – I was a bit concerned today that the later races were starting very late, giving very little time to find a match on the next C4 race if I did happen to get a winner. I might choose only to bet on the last race of the day, or where there is a significant gap between races.
I’m not doing the EW arbs yet, as I’m just getting my head back around this stuff. Betting ~$1000 on each side of baseball matches was so much easier, but the US Government put paid to all that…

This new bet365 thing is madness. Just backed a horse @ 15/8 that returned @ 2/1 and they’ve paid out @ 9/4!!!

Thing is, they’ve just blatantly ripped Ladbrokes but hardly anybody knew about it because they gub so quickly

Yeah FoG, second accounts. I’ve had no issues with registering the same address, just using different names and bank accounts. Lost Paddy yesterday but have had Sky, Ladbrokes and WH going for two months. I also think the gap between losing my own accounts and opening new ones helped, I gave it 4-5 months. You have to give it a go.
Still have my own Bet365 fully intact.
