Does anyone do this full-time at all?

  • Hey chaps,

I’m just wondering if anyone here does this FT. I’ve read some posts where members have 4 grand floats and that seems pretty serious to me.

If anyone can share some advice and facts and figures that would be great for noobies like me and i’m sure several others as well.

I plan to run through the sign up offers shortly but I need a float obviously to start with.

    Best Regards

p.s gratz on the forum guys – it’s always an interesting read btw 😉

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

I use it as a supplement to my main income. It’s a big boost each month and pays for the social life and a few bills. It takes time and effort though to research things and I view it almost as a job of sorts. You have to commit to certain times etc and be very organised.

like a 2nd job sort of thing?

i’m a student at the moment but when i start back at work i don’t know how the heck i would find the time to get on the offers whilst at work lol.

    Without gaffers getting suspicious.

I make 3-4K a month from match betting but to do this you need to multi account I have 6-7 currently.

    Three rules to are
    1. Keep it as real people and different addresses.
    2. Use a mobile to place all bets and change the ip each log in.
    3. Keep looking for new accounts to run as your going to get accounts blocked eventually.

And it takes a lot of time and a huge amount of money management and concentration not to make mistakes.

I haven’t been doing it at all since May. I had heard of it but thought you had to pay up. I was running my own strategy which turns out was exactly the same except I never layed at the exchange to guarantee a profit on every free bet. I relied on the luck evening out and a long term profit.

Since May on my similar strategy.

I’ll say I played 888sport till I got banned about broke even on them.

I played betway till I got banned, and a 300 profit there.

I played paddypower till I got banned at at least 2500 profit there.

I play skybet and still allowed with so far 500.

I played bet365 and profited 53. Don’t like their promos so withdrew after the sign on bonus and on the move bonus.

I played will hill and still do with a 1700 profit.

Betfred barred me after €12 profit.

Just signed up with Coral and played it more like traditional matched betting and a €83 there.

All in all about €5000 profit in 8 months.

I worry though about the long term prospects. Most of my profit came from paddypower who I am now barred and most came in one month Nov 2015 where paddy just went crazy with promos.

I am optimistic though that I have only played 5 or 6 bookies and there seems to be 100’s.

I worry that the ones I played and already am banned from though are the ones with the most promos.

I worry too that bookies will smarten up and stop offering crazy free money but I recently found a football magazine from 2006 with ads for money back offers from paddy.

I am optimistic that my profits came from a less refined strategy as matched betting so if I stick to matched betting it will improve.

I am optimistic as well because I only really had 1 or 2 bookies on the go at a time and then opening up with another bookie after I got barred. If you have a dozen accounts active at the same time I’m sure you easy double what I made.

I find the matched betting approach quite time consuming though in hunting down tight exchange markets to lay at good value. But that’s something you get used to.

I find the matched betting too a bit boring to be honest knowing that you win either way. But I suppose that’s not really a negative!

If I was starting again I would make sure I was more discrete. It’s a pain getting noticed by the bookies and getting shut down. Hide your matched betting strategy with a whole bunch of normal bets.

Don’t give up the day job though. Try it for a while and see how you go.

I don’t think I’ve seen very many sites where they exclude mobile bets from promos, but you can alway change your up on a laptop for the site with awful apps. As for people family first parents siblings, the gf her family after that mates. I only use PayPal for most accounts so that limits you and obv all money comes from mine. I’m 22 so mates are all but happy to let me use there PayPal for 300quid which u can make from a couple of sign up bonuses.

does tethering a different laptop count as using a different IP?

Say using your mobile 3g/4g and tethering this to the laptop work?

I like the idea of running second accounts to double profits. My idea was to get a second hand iphone and do everything on 3g/4g. No need to keep logging in and out of accounts then

Why did you get banned from Paddy Power etc? And when you say ‘banned’, do you mean restricted from their offers, or actually banned from betting with them at all?

I just mean restricted from their promotions.

They don’t give a reason, just say it was a decision made by the traders and that they reserve that right.

When I said it would help to have dozens of accounts open at the same time, I meant at separate bookie’s – not dozens of accounts at the same bookie. That is getting pretty close to fraud.

People that do this. You have to verify each account with a passport. How do you do that for your second and third accounts?

And how much float, nobody seems to have answered that.

I don’t think you need much to start. For example if you start with Coral – I got 6/1 for Man City to win and 20 in free bets when I joined. To join I needed to deposit 5. To match the free bets and guarantee the profit on the enhanced odds maybe 50 or so in your exchange account. So in all about 55 and that gives maybe 20 profit on the enhanced odds and maybe 15 profit on the free bets. So 35. Withdraw it and start on a new bookie. If you can make 35 per day then that is 900 in a month. That will last as long as the welcome bonuses last.

When you start bet365 or any offers where you have to be laying large odds then its a good time to have much bigger funds in your exchange account, but for the welcome bonuses you are probably okay.
