    Is there any benefit to backing early with these or is it just better off to wait til there’s more liquid in the market tomorrow?

    usually its just a case of getting on the best price when you can, but if you want to combine with a mbs (say Ladbrokes money back for 2nd or 3rd to SP) have a look at the T+Cs to make sure the bet counts, some times those will have times which the bets have to be places after ie 9am on the day of the race.

    Are the 1/5 odds ew places worthwhile? Seems like small enough odds.

    @LockBresner
    usually only if you are trying to cover the field and run out of bookies. the odds are pretty shocking at the moment.

    Yeah it’s crazy how little money is going on these, no wonder there are so many any offers to try and entice action. Racing seems dead apart from the big meets.

    Got the hang of these now but no luck today, think the 4th place horse was a rank outsider? Definitely easier when the weather is good and there aren’t horses withdrawing late and the lay odds are always much, much better 5-10 minutes before the race although they can fluctuate a lot.

    So I had a couple of second places with sportingbet and a Bet365 winner on the 4.10 meaning I get the risk free. Sorry this gets asked a lot but can someone remind me, is my risk free bet to be used tomorrow or do I have to wait until the next Channel 4 race which looks like next Saturday?

    Thanks.

    Diable d’Or came fifth, well off the radar at 50/1 but a nice payout if someone had it. Total nightmare for odds all day though, I only managed to get on a couple.

    @Chris
    , I believe channel 4 race free bets are always for channel 4 races, so pretty sure it will be for next Saturday but you’d better check, or hopefully someone will be along who knows better.

    If you won on the 4:10 with Bet365 today the risk free bet goes to next week. The next risk free bet will be for the 2:45 at Ascot on Sat 23rd July- all qualifying races are listed on their site in the offer – https://extra.bet365.com/promotions/en/horse-racing/channel4-to-1-offer

    Thanks mate.

    Get your win back and lays on 9-10am its the best time but yeah, liquidity (on smarkets anyway) has been pretty awful this weekend and last which is odd considering there has been a lot of races on with big meets.

    Yes Chris its for next channel 4 race and they will send you a message to remind you. So watch out for that. “Your risk free bet awaits”.

    I had a free bet this afternoon on first c4 race because I won last c4 bet last week.
