Escaped with a couple of quid profit tonight, one of the favourites suddenly dropped like a stone and made me nearly £6 which helped, usually lose at least £5, mind took an hour of patience waiting for the right races, I was unusually patient tonight, perhaps as not a lot else on.

£6.50 UP chuffed! Went to lay one at 3.5 only to see it matched at 3.25 result!

Managed a £2.50 qualifying loss for a £10 free bet so not too bad. Plus I did 4 races so it wouldn’t look too gubby. Slowly getting better at this.

I reckon part of the problem with this, is us! I sit there waiting for the lay odds to get as low as possible and in the time I have to use the calculator others on here have nabbed the liquidity and the lay odds shoot up. It’s a game of who’s quickest on the draw. It is a lot more exciting though than betting and laying on a Lithuanian football match a week next Friday for £3.50 profit!

Maltesers a safe bet, Friday beers on-hold until the job is done, full concentration required, countdown clock to track the seconds before each hound legs it also primed…….
