Horse racing (30th July)

  • it is very dodgy to do this but couple of the price wise tips are in the extra place race.

I think they will flag your account so I’m passing on these prices on bet365 at least.

What do ppl think though? Nuno Tristan already had a fifth in one of these races this week if I remember too.

Nuno Tristan is 21 on B365, implies 6 to place. Can lay for 17 (win) and 5.8 (place). QUalifying profit on £10.00 bet is £2.29. Win £62.29 if he finishes in the extra place.

Barnet Fair is 17 on B365, implies 5 to place. Can lay for 15.5 (win) and 5 (place). Qualifying profit on £10.00 bet is £0.60. Win £50.60 if he finishes in the extra place.

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

I agree with you Foggy, bet 365 is too good a bookie to risk loosing by doing the Pricewise pics for a few extra quid. Its so difficult to keep under the radar with these bookies, probably best not to make life too easy for them to identify us as people who know what we are doing.

I was looking forward to a good days profit making. But it’s now safe to say Fred’s boosts have brought me back down to earth.

yup think betfred have cut there losses and given up on any good boosts today, think extra places will be where the profit is today and the money back 2nds

Totesport MB if 2nd to Ryan Moore

3:10 Fav is 1.25 and then there are 4 other horses to pick from to hopefully finish 2nd worth a go if the qualifying loss is the right price.

Was hoping to get some races covered off early today because with two extra place races and a bunch of galway and goodwood and newmarket races I’ll be busy.

But from 15 races that I wanted to get covered with 1 or 2 horses per race or (more horses for the extra places), I only managed to match one horse.

Anyway, I will come back in an hour or so and hope things have improved.

I have a feeling today will be a let down.

    Ye of little faith.

The lay odds for the 2.00 are rubbish because its a first race special at many bookies so yeah doing the extra place offer on this one will be tricky.

Betfred and Totesport boosts werent great but underlayed quite a few for some risk free profit potential.

The nature of today’s races makes it difficult to keep QLs down for second place offers. Some value in the 1510 by taking the each way arbs though – fine unless there’s a non runner.

Betfred and Totesport websites continue to make me rage though. Place a bet and you have to go all the way back through several pages to get back to the offers not to mention how they log you out every 20 minutes even when it shows you as being logged in. Totesport still cant display odds in decimals either.

Got on a few Betfred/Totesport boosts today, including two very good doubles. Agree their website is shit. The mobile version is even worse than the desktop – it’s not designed for tablets and finding the boosts is quite tricky.

I’m on Nuno Tristan for Sky, but not yet on any B365 races. Ladbrokes and Betfred look great for the 3.10, though the odds aren’t remotely close.

    Hey folks

I’ve created this webchat for today to see if it’s worthwhile. Do please join. If anyone sees a good arb, especially for qualifying bets, then it’s quicker to post them on the webchat

Hopefully this isn’t in breach of forum rules, though I do apologise if that’s the case.

Is there anyway to find out what the price wise horses are early in the day? Its funny that they have to be avoided, I was thinking of trying to get early bets on for extra places but I guess you’re playing Russian roulette with your accounts when you don’t know which horses they are.

been a waiting game to get good matches, hate playing it that way, now waiting for some place prices to drop (or hoping)

Great idea Pav – for anyone who hasn’t clicked on it yet works great, nice to be able to talk quicker etc also.

Someone usually sticks the pricewise picks on twitter the night before. Just go to twitter and search for “pricewise”. Jumped on a couple this morning at 9am and still waiting for the lays to come down from outer space.
