Horse racing (feb 14th)

  • paddy power in Navan :)

Definitely looks like 2 or 3 good races there, hoping for no non runners.

Will hill is Exeter 3.10 and 3.40. Might be okay depending on qualifying losses but big enough field.

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Dan. Like I said I don’t see anything in the terms that rule it out. And like I said I used to bet on 2 horses per race quite regularly. I never seemed to miss out on my free bets.

I know its a bit of a different way to think when you are used to the other offers which specify first cash bet only.

Am I 100% sure? Unless things have changed then maybe, but you seem so sure that I am wrong that I am starting to doubt myself!

Even if this is true guys, it’s hard enough trying to avoid been gubbed from these offers. Betting on more than one horse in MBS races? That’s a sure fast track to a gubbing., unless you’re doing it in races that aren’t MBS races.

Dan, I used to be very innocent back in November. I bet on every horse on paddy power 3/1 and shorter in every money back race every day – often two horses per race. I didn’t bet on anything else (except the boosts and the Bet 20 Get 10’s). I never bet on horses before I started doing the promotions. I wasn’t matched betting, just bonus chasing back then – but I still did pretty well. Just providing some information here on gubbings (not trying to talk about another strategy!!).

Now looking back it looked like a red flag and don’t know if I’d be so brazen again but I got away without any gubbing – until I got gubbed from the football bet 20 get 10 at the end of December out of the blue.

They will decide when they gub you, it is out of your control, totally!

On the other hand I got gubbed by betfred after 3 days and after winning €12 total – wasn’t even betting full stakes.

There’s obviously a bit of luck involved in gubbing Fog, but there are also a lot of things you can do to avoid been gubbed.

True Dan. You’re right too :)

Like I said I was a bit innocent – and got lucky. It also shows though how far you can push it. That’s why I shared my experience.

Anyway come on Automated in the first at Navan!!

Damn Irish racing, being favourite means nothing.

I am having an absolutely nightmare this weekend, Every single horse I’ve back has won so I’m now about £15 down from all the qualifiers AND all my cash is now in the bookies! Not a sniff of a freebie anywhere! Its days like this I wish I was mugging, probably be up 2 grand! lol

    Haha. Bad luck deathstar.

The favourite in Exeter is 3.25/3.5 on hill/smarkets. So about £2 qualifying cost.

Your risking him winning though and moving more money into the bookie account!

Deathstar – you need to get onto the Bet365 horse offer – you won’t be so put out if you pick a winner.
