Ladbrokes – Derby v Man U

  • Money back as a free bet if both teams score on losing first goalscorer, correct score and HT/FT, up to £25. Friday night kick off. MU/MU currently 3.1 – too early for Smarkets/BF.

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

    This is a great offer.

Firstly you can use all three markets online for the offer, so upto £75 of free bet refunds.

Secondly, for those with Grid cards, you can also get the refund on the 1X2 market in store. I’ll be popping into the local Lads in the morning.

Can anybody tell me (newbie) how to lay my bet on this offer?
If I follow Matt’s guidance and his bet strategy as posted in his blog for this Ladbrokes offer. When it comes to the last part and placing an extra lay bet on both teams scoring at Smarkets on Both Teams To Score Yes @ 2.20, i assume I place the bet on the Blue tab.
Is this correct? It’s just the Green tab has the odds of 2.20 so i’m confused as to which I bet on?

This does seem like it could be a bit of a gold mine if Derby get their arse in gear, as well as United in regards to their current form.

I am so used to it only being applicable to one market it seems odd that Ladbrokes are offering on all three markets. Big returns.

Out of curiosity Starlord, what is the Gridcard, some kind of loyalty card for in-store?

If both teams don’t score, you don’t get the refund. So you would either lay (blue tab) “both teams to score- YES” or back (green tab) “both teams to score-NO”. This way, you will win this bet in the exchange if you don’t get the refunds from Ladbrokes. And to clarify, the amount you would place on a laying bet would NOT be the same as the amount you would place on the backing bet if you chose the latter.

How do you guys lay this? Horrible odds at the moment..

I’ve just placed my BTTS lay on at 2.2 and will wait for people to take it. I am overlaying BTTS to ensure a profit regardless of outcome, like someone said in the comments section of Matt’s post

Yes, basically a loyalty card linked to your online account. Givea you free bet offers (usually in store only). I have only just received mine in the post a few days ago so this’ll be my first use of it.

@Starlord It appears to me that it will be a maximum of 25 for online customers while for shop users it could be 100 total, though I might be wrong.

    5. Refunds for Online and Mobile customers apply to the first losing bet on each market, up to £/€25 per customer.
    7. Shop customers can have more than one Free Bet refund per market but the total amount of the Free Bet will not exceed £/€25 per customer PER MARKET.
