New Paddy Prem League offer

  • Saw in the paper this morning that for all Prem League games for the rest of the season, they’ll pay out as soon as your team goes 2 goals up, even if they go on to draw or lose. No mention of max stake, and no details on website yet.

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Yeh cos lots of teams lose from 2 up! Reckon odds at that point of a draw would be huuge

True enough – Sunderland did lose to Palace from 2-up, as did West Ham to Watford. Can’t think of any more.

The only time I can see this being of use if looking to Dutch another offer.
Worth using paddy if the odds ok if bet365 do their risk free again for example

Swansea led by 2 (payout), then were losing by 1. Ended up winning by 1 anyway so letting it ride wouldn’t help but it’s a good idea to check lays and guarantee some profit.

Wasn’t on it, just an observation.

Being a grubbed palace fan this offer would be perfect for me. Happily just back the other team every week.

Managed to extract from value from this yesterday. West Brom went 2-0 so Paddy immediately paid up on my £50. When Watford pegged them back to 2-1 the Baggies’ odd went back up to a “reasonable” 1.35 so I plunked £40 on them, which was fully covered by my dutched Draw/Watford bets. Had it finished Draw/Watford I would have been up £10, but ended up taking an extra £14. Clearly, I could have let it ride and hoped for a draw, but I’m not much of a gambler…

1.7/1.7 available on Liverpool right now, which keeps the QL down.

@arb great odds, but what are the odds of Liverpool being 2 up and now winning! More importantly, what odds would you get on the draw at that point? Even if Bournmouth pull one back with 40+ minutes to go I’m guessing the odds wouldn’t be great.

Probably not – when Arsenal went 2-0 in the 72nd yesterday the odds were 1.02, so definitely not worth bothering. West Brom odds went from 1.15 to 1.35 when they conceded, which did make a difference. The value in this offer definitely is with the more closely matched teams.

I would definitely cash out in smarkets if I got a payout from PP and preferably in the first half and my team would go on to concede one or two/more goals which would make the price fall and likely a few pounds plus.

Liverpool 2 up in 22 mins – odds were 1.07. I’ll wait and see if Bournemouth fluke a goal at those prices.

Had £90 on Liverpool at 1.7/1.7, layed on Betfair (different accounts)

Took the option to cash out on Betfair just after the 2nd goal for £9.58 profit.

May try this again on future matches if odds are close enough……

Not Paddy, but a general idea
Had £10FB (Coral Connect) on L’Pool 2-0 @ 9.5. Crap lay odds so left it. Layed now @3.4 (lucky, lucky).
Also done same ManU 2-2 @ 13. Couple of goals and odds will tumble.

Made a bit with ManC 4X£5 FB’s (Fred &Victor) at 2-2 – layed after 1-1 for great odds.

Not crowing, just thought it may be a good strategy for FB’s with crap odds. Saves loads of time pissing about looking for half decent extraction.
