Paddy Power Gubbed

  • Got the email today

“Having reviewed your account, we regret to inform you that with immediate effect we are no longer offering you any free bet promotions, double odds bonuses or enhanced prices.

As part of our Terms and Conditions, Paddy Power reserve the right to exclude customers from promotions.

This decision has been taken after careful consideration and will not affect your ability to bet on our Sportsbook or any other Paddy Power product.”

Been hitting the £20 – £10 in play offer and I think the Price Boost BTTS winning yesterday finished me off.

Might be worth checking in boxes, can’t imagine I’m the only one.

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

yep me too. same message.I got banned from the bet 20 get 10 a while ago and havent used them since. but still got Gubbed again today. When I heard Betfair were taking over Paddy Power I did wonder if Paddy Power just started putting restrictions on all customers who had used the Betfair exchange.

It seems to me whoever got banned from the bet 20 get 10 is now banned from every promotion included Power Prices. Me and anyone else who was banned a while back for me back in August 2015 still are able to bet on their Power Prices’s which obviously i’m not complaining about, they add up to quite a lot of profit!

Hi all this is my 1st post although I have viewed the blog for some time. Over the past few days it has not been available to avoid the crossfire of the spat between Ryan and Patrick.
For what it is worth here is my take on it. Ryan is the typical keyboard warrior, his whole life seems to resolve round his postings on this site. He said somewhere he is studying for his accountancy exams so I guess his age is at the lower end of the spectrum and if he is making £500 or so a month he thinks that is a good income. My advice to him is to get a life away from this site and enjoy his youth.
Patrick to my mind is much older and like me considers himself to be a big-hitter in MB terms and resents the young upstarts jumping on the band wagon not really knowing what they doing and with the publicity spoiling it for the old timers.
My advice to Patrick is not to feel bitter that the bubble has burst but to be grateful for the profits made and not resent the new order joining the bandwagon.

In my mind the real purpose of all the offers is to get the youth of today hooked on using their phones for betting whilst in the pub with their mates after a few beers and hence their judgement impaired or to get people hooked on online games like roulette.

The fact that most offers are exclusive to mobiles supports this.

MB has been good for me but its ability to provide funds has always been a short term horizon.

Good luck to everyone but remember nobody has ever said on their deathbed ” I didnt spend long enough on a message board “

You couldn’t have contradicted yourself anymore than you just have done, saying my life resolves around posting on this site when you have just stated yourself you have been viewing this blog for sometime and obviously must be on a hell of a lot to observe all of my postings. You also state I am studying for my Accountancy exams which is true and correct I am therefore quite young, but please tell me how someone studying to be an Accountant which as many people know is a well paid job would think that £500 a month is good income? That makes absolutely no sense at all, could you please tell me where I have ever stated I feel £500 a month is good income? To be honest if you read the thread Patrick started, I think you’ll find it wasn’t just me that instantly thought what the hell is this guy doing.

Finally, you have just made yourself out to be worse than either of us by posting a massive essay on something you aren’t even involved with and you have the right to call someone else a keyboard warrior. Don’t make me laugh!

Please tell me how ‘he had had me there’? To be honest I couldn’t care what people think about me its just a forum and him and Patrick I have never seen post before ever. I get on quite well with the majority of regulars on this forum and I could name 10-15 of them who I help out and they regular help me out and who I get along with great!

I agree with a good few of your points about that Ryan bloke. I am 25 and already spend a little too much time on the computer myself with other work, but he is seemingly absolutely incessant in terms of his computer use. Nearly every single forum post features him within the first 3 or 4 posts. I also agree with the keyboard warrior point. And telling people to “get out of our forum” just because they post a contrary opinion is quite frankly embarrassing. Seems to be a bit of a cult mentality on here as was evidenced by that laughable recent thread calling for a tiered star rating for helpful posters. I’m done with this forum anyway. The cult mentality is enough in itself to put anyone off. Also earning 500 quid a month from it requires way too much time and dedication that could easily be spent doing something that is actually enjoyable. Life is too short to care that much about an extra few quid. I’ll do the odd skyboost, bet365 in-play and horse offer and leave it at that.

Not the most glamorous of places but you’ll find a good few places to have a decent beer.
