I don’t think that’s strictly true. If you are new to paddypower messenger and download the app you will be credited a free bet of £20 once you place your first bet of £10 at minimum odds of 1.5 there is no need to refer a friend in order to get this. However you may refer a friend so they can get a £20 free bet as well so it’s more of a favour for your mate than anything else
+0I downloaded the app the other day and put £20 on the enhanced England game but not got a free bet. Is there anything you need to do or was it because the bet was enhanced?

Hi daveangle,thanks for your input.What happened with me was,I put the £10 bet on but,no message came through about the £20 free bet.When I sent the message ‘ refer a friend promotion (my friends username)’ I then got a message back saying ‘we are dealing with your query’ etc etc.A minute or 2 later came the message that I had been awarded the free bet.
So,I don’t know if I would have been awarded the free bet anyway or not as it’s too late now to wait and see if it would have been awarded.
But,as you said if you do refer a friend at least you will both get the £20 free bet so happy days all round anyway lol

Buzzer123, Was it defo the PP messenger app you installed or just the PP app?
+0It was because it was enhanced if you place it on a regular non enhanced bet you will get it.

You have to place the bet on the app obviously albatross,It is weird though yes as you have to send a message to place the bet!

The only other option is to send the refer a friend message,you will need a friends PP username.The message to send is-‘refer a friend promotion-(username) and hope for the best!!+0Will wait and see, might be back on here yet!
