PP Power Price (6 Nations treble)

  • France (v Italy), England (v Scotland) and Ireland (v Wales) boosted to 3.5

Combined lay odds are currently 3.26, so not a lot of wiggle room but can obviously be (under)layed sequentially. Personally I won’t be laying France (1.07) and will presume they will win, so will underlay the other 2 games as follows:

    England for £20.40 @1.48 (£9.79 liability)
    Ireland for £30.39 @2.06 (£32.22 liability)

Total return if all 3 win = £70
    Total outlay = 20+9.79+32.22 = £62.01
    Total profit = £7.99

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

I saw this and had the same thought regarding France, slight gamble but you would assume they’d win. I’m probably going to give it a miss though as I’ll be out during the times to lay!

Also, in the same boat as you took up England to win @3.5, when do you plan to lay? as knowing my luck they’ll probably lose against Scotland and ill end up losing the £20!

I’ll be laying England outright after the second game week mate, by which time they will have beaten Scotland and Italy and their price will have dropped, hopefully to nearer 2.0

In terms of today’s PP treble I actually think France and England are shoe-ins, so may consider not launch England at all either. Educated punt I know, and not Match Betting, but I have given the MB example in post 1 for those with zero appetite for risk ;)

I remember during the World Cup thinking Australia were shoe-ins to beat Scotland and bet £100 on them without laying (to complete a roll over requirement). They ended up winning by one point in the dying seconds of the game. Australia then thrashed England in the next game. So yeah, Scotland may be stronger against a relatively new England than a lot of people think.

Well Tony considering Scotlands odds I can’t see them having absolutely no chance as suggested, but I do am going to let my England £20 run and hope you’re right ;)

It’s still there Dan, just need to click through to the power price bit.

    Cheers Tony.

Oh no, only saw your message now, could still have taken it :-(

Liverpool were 2-0 with 8 mins to go for the footie power play as well which was also a treble. I laid all of the teams off for a small cost so broke even but would have made 70 if they held on. Fucking football eh

Tony, England now 2.58 to lay…pretty good considering we took up 3.5, what you thinking? Leave it one more game then lay? Not sure how much the odds would decrease by!

Well, after France brushed aside Italy (haha!) and England winning after I laid them for a £4 loss (nice) I’m on easy street with the treble :P

In terms of the outright, I’d say leave it another week until England beat Italy. The other results in the meantime might also bring that price down further ;)

Looks like im trusting you on this Tony ahaha…nah makes sense what you’re saying though, but to be honest when I key in my figures after this weekend I might even forget about that £20…but England are odds of 2.58 at the moment, not sure how the 6nations work but id say if they came up against Wales the odds wouldnt be much lower than that? So best off to lay?

I think lay it off. If Wales win tomorrow that will put them favs. So by not laying now it seems to me you are just betting on Ireland to win.

How certain are you that theyll be faves? Dont know much about rugby but if you say thats the case!

Not certain but Wales would be level with England and with easier teams left to play.

It would be a big result for Englands closest rivals.

It would have stung for a second, but what I like about this MB lark is that it affords me the occasional punt like this (still at favourable odds mind!)

Good job that big Italian has a foot like a 50p piece though! ;)
