I love these big meets and extra places on offer. I know that value is probably being spent that doesn’t need to be, but not going for the extra place big payday and just laying exactly what you bet and taking the guaranteed money is serving me well enough. Tough day today but 6 of the above netted a ton.

I am working on site this week so all I have done is spent 45 mins on lunch on Tuesday and wednesday punting value on bet365.

Restricted there so that controls how much I can punt down to a reasonable figure that isn’t really reckless.

You win some, you lose some. I’m up about €100 on that account, so worth the time spent and goes to show how much value bet365 give away with their enhanced odds at these big meetings.

I honestly wonder how they can turn a profit at all when almost every ew bet is value on their enhanced terms and price promise. And BOG.

    Mediocre day
Opened with a loss cashing out a bet I made a bad call on odds shortening. Closed with 1/10th what I thought I had after itv mislead me into thinking I had 5th.

Marv, I’ve been going 50ew and hitting £15 profit average, that’s without 365 which were doing by far the best deals (I saw one race at 6 places 1/4 odds where exchanges were paying 4)

So finding a super tight match, backing and laying the win then waiting till near the off and laying for guaranteed profit on the Betfair place market

Is the right answer Marv, except lay at Smarkets and save yourself 3% in commission ?. If you read the “guide to e/w arbing thread” in the matched betting forum that will fill any gaps in your knowledge.

Matchdem, if you think your profits are big wait till you see the numbers posted on the Oddsmonkey profit thread ?

Think you jumped in half way there Steve lol

Was asking felt about not laying to hit extra place, but using Betfair place market because they do the extra ones like 5 and 6 places

Aye, easy enough using the ew calculator on here for the specific 2% win and 5% place. I usually just compare the bookie price to Betfair Exchange Each Way price, then make sure that the applicable place market has enough liquidity at what should be a good arb price. Also worth checking the e/w exchange paying 1/5 odds and seeing what bookies are going 1/4. If you get a very tight win there should be something there.
