I know mate, so far so good!… I’m just gonna lay the fiver for £13 and obviously take the £22 if it comes in… Which judging by the first half has a decent chance

What where the odds of that Ice? I feel like if you’re going to punt a free bet to get the value you are best aiming for quite high odds like the 0-0 for example, otherwise say you bet on 2/1 and win £10…you’re not winning that much more than you would if you lay it which is guaranteed profit.

Ryan is right. Punt a free bet at 2/1 and you win 10 about less than 33% of the time – so that’s about £3.33 expected value. Punt a 9/1 and you win £45 about less than 10% of the time – so that’s a £4.50 expectation.

I’ve simplified a bit ignoring bookie edge but it shows the idea.

If I’m punting it’s always on 9/2 to 7/1 outcomes.

I like going for the 0-0 not sure why, I just feel its easier then to try and pick out a 1-0 2-1 win etc..

Lay now for £15 profit..what to do.

Lay because I’m gunning for a goal in this one. A goal from either side now would give me about a tenner profit.

Why what have you bet on?

You won’t be happy with me Ryan. I have hull to score first @4/7 with the 20. And have Wednesday to win to nil @ 11/2 with free 5.

No lay. Was in a bit of a rush this evening and don’t mind a punt here and there.

Ah if only you had time to put say £10 or so on a correct score to cover the 0-0 with bet365/WH. Well i’m sure if it doesn’t come in you’ll recoup the £20 tomorrow. But everyone is different ey!

Well i’m out..I usually like to wait and see it through for a £5 free punt but laid @1.6 for £21.71 profit (not taking it out account qualifying loss) rather bank it then risk the £35 profit for the 0-0.

The odds for mine were 2.25. Was just hoping to make over £5 profit. Nevermind. Only cost 35p

A guy at work said this would be 0-0. Wish i had done the bore draw offer

But Ice if you had just done the normal back and lay odds you could have probably made around £4 for guaranteed? don’t get the logic’s there! I had a little look but all the correct score lays weren’t close enough!

Looks like Westwood had a good game there in goals for Wednesday. Happy for him! Not so much for me..
