My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

I also got on it now, always hard to tell whether the lay will go up or not (noticed recently it always goes up)

Same here Ryan (sure to go down now like). Also seems to help getting your bet on early with Sky, in terms of getting the your maximum stake. Always been £25 for me, unless I’m late getting on it.

Whilst I have underlayed this for a £14.44 /£0 profit and it covers my free Monday fiver the actual results are dismal, one always seems to let us down, as the last two weeks have shown, but its profit, plus you could take £1.56 guaranteed plus the Monday Club or shoot for the stars for the £14.44 and Monday Club.

I don’t understand why people expect so much from these boosts. I don’t think that the results are “dismal”. This is regular 6/1 (so expect at best winning once in seven weeks) and some of the SkyBet treble boosts lately have been longer than that.

These are great boosts and definitely worth doing – but don’t expect to win every week, every other week or even every month! If you want to win every week just overlay it and take the small guaranteed profit.

    Fog_Blog you are exactly right.

The mindset of the new breed of match bettors.

Want something for nothing all the time.

I dont know why someone has not suggested that the bookies put piles of £20 notes on the tables in their shops and you just go in and help yourself. Some newbies really think it should be that easy.

    Just a pre weekend mull.

Indeed, you can’t expect a 6/1 shot to win more often that it’s probability suggests!

I think there was a stretch of these Sky accas that did win in a row, which might have skewed peoples’ expectations. Hate to say I agree with @patrick, but I think I do this time :P

Patrick, your ‘Want something for nothing ‘ preach is really starting to get tiresome – what exactly is matched betting if it is not basically money for nothing?

are you just a little put out that the secrets got out a bit?

Are you one of those rather sorry individuals that really likes a band, but when they start getting critical acclaim and recognition, you get all sad and start telling everyone ‘well I liked them before they were famous!’ ?? Or are you just generally bitter in all aspects of your life?

Its the comments that 6/1 shots dont win all the time, that got to me.

Instead of having a go at me you should aim your anger elsewhere.

If you back a 6/1 shot you should expect it to win once in 7 attempts, but you shouldnt moan on the other 6 occasions.

On these enhanced Acca’s we are getting value so over the long term they will be profitable.

The term”dismal” is just totally inappropriate in the post I criticised.

I wish my £25 free bet on PSG to win 2-1 didn’t win. I don’t think that will have looked very good to them.

Indeed, I was happy that Man U didn’t get a consolation goal last night as 2-1 would have been a big transfer of money from exchange to Sky!

Got to agree with Patrick on this.

The Skybet trebles have been good for me ,especially in January when a number came in.

Chance of £14 on the latest for nothing, and still some complain.

Boo, the gubbing stick is near. £6 max. How the hell do I get that increased?

My max stake has been £6 on these for at least six months, still fine for other stakes and offers.
