Hi All

Per the sky bet mobile website if your horse finishes second or third at the 14:00 Doncaster race tomorrow then you will be entitled to a free bet up to £25. There are only 7 horses in the race so there is a good chance of managing to get this free bet. Right now there are two clear favourites at 9/4 & 5/2.

Thanks for the heads up dave, I really like these sky 2nd or 3rd offers. I have hit loads of them, I am amazed sky has not gubbed me to be honest with you because of the amount of these I have had. I do try and do a few mug bets with them to try and keep the account open for as long as possible, touch wood it appears to be working for now anyway.

I absolutely battered these, extra place races and the Saturday acca, no mug bets at all and my account lasted for about 2 years. gonna miss em.

I was wondering what tactics people employ for these races. Is it simply bet on a horse with as low as possible qualifying loss? Or to bet on the favourite regardless of qualifying loss based on the assumption he should win or be there or there abouts I.e 2nd or 3rd. The reason I ask is tomorrow is such a small field the favourite has a great chance of winning.

I very rarely go down further than 3rd or 4th fav in the betting unless I find a really good arb which seems to be fairly rare with sky.

Town charter is a non runner now. Number of runners are 5. Sky are entitled to withdraw offer because of there being less than 6 runners. However it’s still advertised on the website as money back 2nd or 3rd so here’s hoping they choose to fulfil offer

I always study form and look at stats such as the percentage of place finishes the horse has managed in its last six races. Harder to do with Sky though as their odds are crap.

Unlikely I know plus the favourite has to win but nothing else doing for this race.
