My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Quick question when you say underlay what do you have to do to calculate what your lay stake should actually be ?

@andy i use oddstrawler, enter odds/stake works it out for you if you use the advanced tab :) (options are underlay, normal, overlay)

Kjillman how much did you lay it by in the exchange for £18 profit?

    25/0.95 because commission is 5% on betfair = £26.30.

So you break even if the acca loses and win 18 if it wins.

Sky seem to “grade” accounts on a sliding scale per market, as opposed to outright gubbing people, hence why everyone’s max bet on this will differ

Never heard of anyone getting more than £25 on it mind

You can use this for full underlay/overlay and there’s also a slider if you want to pick something in between: https://www.trickybet.net/lay-calculator

Lay Odds are now 9.6 for this, potential £23.65 profit for a total underlay,or you could do a standard matched bet and make £2.32 whatever happens,I’ve gone for the former, although I can’t see Bournemonth beating Stoke tbh, still will be nothing lost, and hopefully The Toffees,The Cherries and The Saints can pull it off.
