SkyBet Friday 2.20 York – Money Back if the Favourite wins

  • Another MBS from Sky tomorrow

Fingers crossed the favourite isn’t as much of a donkey as the last two races… doesn’t look good though.

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Just That Lord now the clear favourite, but Sky have obviously adjusted all other horses’ odds with their promo in mind – they are all MILES away from the exchange prices, haha!

Maybe a lower QL will pop up nearer the off

Ah crap, first time in a while I’ve done this and my back got rule 4 before my lay matched. Now the market has reformed the lay is miles out and it’s going to cost a fiver to sort out.

Skipping this offer again. Their odds are rubbish. Won’t be available just before the race to see if they improve

On Discreet Hero for a QL £1.50. Just about worth it (I think) but I doubt the favourite will win..

Ffs. Lay didn’t match, should have backed the fav. Down the full whack. Really should skip these sky offers.

Somehow managed a 30p quali profit on this. Shame it didn’t come in, should start laying off the fav to guarantee some profit really.

Backed the fav at 4, layed at 3.75 at same time. Rule 4 kicked in but made about £5 on a £100 bet. Some dodgy three legged horses making favourite on these Sky promos tho.

I’m thinking about taking a very simple approach to horse racing…. Just lay off every favourite in every race at the shortest price I can get it at. There is no way on earth you wouldn’t profit in the long run….

These offers are equivalent to bending over and picking up a 1 pence piece off the floor honestly. Marginally profitable but not worth the effort unless the favourite is at stupidly short odds. Notice they always do it on relatively unproven horses which are 3-4 years old at most so the turn out is as unpredictable as possible.

Dont say you havent been warned guys.
Best bet give it a rest for 3 months and then have a look at the offers on the horses.
It was clear to a blind man on a galloping horse that the offers that were available just werent sustainable from a bookies business model,

Tony, some on here thought the riches of October 15 to March 16 would last forever.
Look how quiet Ryan has been for example lately.
