Pretty open be difficult to pick a 2nd from them! Always worth a go though of course.

Mother Meldrum for me for 2nd – little known Conditional jockey on board this false favourite.

Betfred are doing 2nd to SP favourite on the 19.25 and 20.25 at Kempton too.

Not worth doing those two races though Jamesbob in my opinion. Weak favourites and quite big fields.

Right folks. Stuck the 25 on the favourite last night at 2.75. Wasn’t tight enough to lay so I decided to wait till today and if it was still wide I was going to let this one run. However there is now a market reduction of 20p due to a non runner. The odds are now 2.63 but how do I work this one out? I know it’s on winnings so I’m about 8 pound less winnings if it does win.

Not a bad deal as not too many runners on this one

I’ve gone for Apache Outlaw but haven’t placed the lay yet, waiting for odds to come down slightly (hopefully)

Chappers, your back odds are now 2.4

    68.75 (original returns) – stake = 43.75 profit

    43.75 – 20% (rule 4) = 35 + stake = 60 (your new returns if horse wins)

    60 / 25 = 2.4

    I got Apache Outlaw at 4.2 (after rule 4) / 4.3

You did well Chris – I only placed my bet this morning so was at 4 on Sky and lay is currently 4.4 so qualifying loss nearly £3. If lay odds don’t come down I’ll just lay how it is and I guess that’ll just be my free £5 Sky bet profits next week gone!

Well theres still another 2.5 hours until the race so hopefully those lay odds will tighten for you. I would just stick 4.2 in to smarkets and hope it matches.

I’ve done exactly that :) Thanks Chris

Got Apache at 4.5 this morning. 4.2 now on smarkets.

Does rule 4 drop this to 4.2?

My Smarkets bet is showing ‘reduction factor’ blah blah. Do I need to do anything as I bet & layed this yesterday.

simon and platti, if you already layed and it was fully matched, you dont need to do anything. Smarkets have applied rule 4 to your bet just as sky have.
