Also I agree with shane re Matt’s profits… Its impossible not getting gubbed after using/abusing a bookies promo. Mug bets dont really make a difference.

Well my wife’s account has now gone the same way,weird it’s only on the bet 20 get 10 promotion. As I have been restricted 5 months ago from all free bet offers.
Regarding Matt’s accounts personally think it’s all virtual as he’d would off been gubbed from some of these bookies by now.

I suspect info sharing between bookies here. They all had the chance to look at who used and abused their offers before now – with this for example, why did Paddy not do this in December, straight after a month of wall-to-wall offers in November that I am sure we all exploited to the full?
Having said that, by sharing customer data they would be in breach of DP regulations, open to big fines if proven and a sizeable PR own goal
This is the end game methinks, the emails might have only mentioned one specific offer this time, but next week it will be the horses, then the week after ALL promos. This is the world post-profit accumulator I’m afraid 🙁

As mentioned before I think Paddy is changing how they do things now.Making sure they check the exchanges as the last month or so i receive the enhanced price boosts for a certain horse race on pp messenger and when checking the exchange there’s no difference or betfair worse off. they used to run great offers money back 2nd & 3rd on the horses max refund £50 now it’s mbs to the sp fav!

As someone mentioned, his profit is probably virtual. Dont get me wrong, I am still grateful and respect his blog as this has given us a great opportunity here, but at the end of the day he makes money off the affiliates links. Clever business model 😉

PA? Tony? i dont believe its the beginning of the end, just a purge. Paddy could of quite easily just limited all our accounts but chose not to. My guess is that before offering the bet 20 offer they did a quick check of their books to see who has abused the offer in the past.

+0It wouldn’t surprise me if he was a member of PA. Their affiliate scheme is fairly generous too but it’s unlikely to be linked often as most of us would feel we were mentioning a competitor.
Anyway, he’s not been going that long and if you believe in mug betting (I don’t) Matt appears to dutch a lot of offers rather than lay them. Even as a “virtual” profit log I think it’s an honest representation.
