Betfair can lay it off…Bayern were 5/5 when I looked too

Personally I’m letting it run as a gamble on Real Madrid as I believe they have the easiest group. They WILL qualify for the knock out phases too so no need to really lay until Feb anyway (when the prices will be a little shorter)

Not worth not laying unless you let it run through the knockouts. Similar to the Euro group matches where France odds actully went up despite making it through the group, this was down to other teams playing well and France not doing so well themselves.

Of course, there’s a chance a big gun will drop out which will help. But that big gun could be yours.

I said the same thing before the euro when a few had decided not to lay France. As the same happened in the World Cup where Uruguay qualified from the group of death and their odds went up.

France ended the wrong side of the draw in euro.

You never know if the odds will go up/down or out completely. If you knew then trading would be easy.

Same when everyone knew that Idaho would win.

These guys are a bit of a nightmare.

Did the sign up today, £10 free bet on a horse won (grrr they always fuckin do) so I have £140 in the account now. They asked me to verify before I could withdraw, fair enough. Went on live chat, the two people I spoke to on there took TEN minutes to even reply to my messages each time.

They accepted my passport but wont accept any electronic utility bills, I am completely paperless. So now I have to get a paper statement from my bank before I can withdraw. Or I will just lose it all to the exchange.

Jokers.

Barca did the business already. £3 free bet coming up, (had a 60p loss to get it), should clear over £1.50 profit already, with at least 5 more games to go.

It may be pennies to some, but it all adds to the pot. :)

Will only get one bet (terms say free bet if 3 or more goals in the game). Agreed could have let the bet on Barca ride but they did lose at home at weekend at odds of around 1.06!
