Stan James are doing bet £20 in-play (or 10 e/w) on the RBC Heritage open outright and get a £5 free bet. It does tie up exchange funds for a while but I made a bit out of it last time.

Right AJDC but last I checked the qualifying loss on most were so bad you’d nearly be as well to punt on the draw

Up to you, but I am a £10 up after last night’s draw. FB’s can be used on racing where their odds are much better. Took a horse today at 13/12.5 and after laying the draw at least £10 up. I have done offers for less than that before and I am sure I will again.

I agree with you liaml.

Only a couple of £ profit in each one.

But even Dortmund/Dortmund at 3.8/4.5 for £4.22 QL. If you win the free bet 27% of the time (as the market odds suggest) then you’re winning in the long term. So not much value but still free money available there..

You’re -4.22 * 73% of the time and +20-4.22 * 27% so its a £1.18 positive expected value. A gamble yes, but one with a positive expectation based on the market wisdom.

I’d agree with FoG_BLoG, also for Shakhtar Donetsk v Braga and Liverpool v Borussia Dortmund I can’t seem to find a single bet that will trend towards a profit.

e.g. best I can get for Liverpool game is £4.40 qualifying loss for £14.35 profit if its a draw at full time. Draw odds of 3.6.

3*£4.40=£15.84; and of course £15.84 is less than £14.35 so the bet isn’t financially viable.

Id have to disagree. A £4 qualifying loss on the Liverpool game so £4 against the draw @ 3.75 gives a liability of £10.99. So if it isnt a draw you roughly break even and if it is a draw you lose £11ish but get a £25 free bet. Thats not bad in my book unless im doing it totally wrong???

4.40 qual loss, lay draw 4.48 @ 3.6 = liability of 12.09

If no draw you break even

If draw you are 12.09 + 4.4 = 16.09 down with 25 snr to come.

Most of us can extract 22.5 from the 25 snr = free shot at 6.41

Pickle, you need to include your qualifying loss too, so in your eg approx 15 down with 25 snr to come.

Yep, I’ve gone for all four. If I lay off the draws then I’m looking at £8.50-9.50 profit for each one that comes in. Not laying them means my liability is presently £12.33. If just one of them comes home a draw then I’m looking at a profit of around £9, £30 for two, £51 for three.
