WH BTTS Liverpool v Everton

  • Enhanced to evens at 6pm. Should be worth a few pounds profit. 20 max.

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

    Cheers Chico

Lay around the 1.73 mark, so underlay for £0 or £5.10, or match for £2.93

Wish they would grow a pair and let you get £100 in these boosts like Fred does!

    Lay 1.78 now
I’m expecting to be restricted to £10 on this, but also expecting the lay price to shift further so actually laid £30 now and hoping to squeeze a few extra pence that way

Lads when I went to the calculator, I put free bet and the calculator said the profit will be 11 pounds, I laid 11-something quid on smarkets and will put 20 on the BTTS have I screwed up massively?

Yep. It’s not a free bet, it’s enhanced odds. Put £20 at 2.0 on one side, and the lay odds on the other.

It’s not a free bet – you are using your own money as the stake, so you just want to use the normal setting.

If you have already layed it is not a huge problem – you will just need to top up the stake on your lay bet to either underlay in full or match the bet (whichever you prefer)

Problem is odds changed at smarkets – laid at 1.74 (11.63 quid), now odds are 1.77. Can anyone help me with how much I should add to the lay?

Tony with the Chelsea badge… If you go to the bottom left hand corner of your screen and right click you’ll find 3 options…

    Choose “Shut Down PC”

@Tony if you’ve laid 11.63 already @1.74 lay another 8.78 @1.77 for the risk free shot at ~£4.28 or lay another 11.23 @ 1.77 for a guaranteed min of £2.40 (for my calculations ive actually assumed you originally layed at 1.77) but either way if BTTS you’ll be a couple of pence more up but if they dont you’ll get exactly your original stake returned – assuming you underlay.

Can’t tell if Tony is the newest WUM to the forum or not…?
Use https://www.trickybet.net/lay-calculator and put in the amount you’ve already put on on the right hand side.

I think these calculators cause more harm than good. If you blindly plug numbers in without understanding them then you risk being I’m trouble unless you stick to step by step offers.

The other thing about these calculators is it assists stupid people or no interest in sport or gambling to benefit. And since before I discovered matched betting I still (bluntly) said bookies needed stupid people to make me money, and this is even more true with matched betting so don’t want to shift people like that from giving to bookies to taking from them.

Nb that’s not necessarily aimed at Tony as I don’t know him from any other Tony and I appreciate people have to learn….. if they are willing to make the effort and have a common interest, rather than being spoon fed free money

Could only get £5 on. Looks like account is on life support after some big wins chasing the 5 lengths offer.

I made it risk free at 1.75 so if both teams score £4.69 profit, if not then I’ve broken even.

Bad (not costly) call on the lay drifting mind. Was a bit odd watching the market just after 6, the amount of money being gobbled up on the lay was eye opening…. but traders kept dropping more in at 1.76 even though I’m sure they could made more.
I say that but the link between Billy Hill and the traders was probably on a Christmas lunch and some bot was probably feeding the matched bettors money
