What offers can we expect from the Olympics?
-
For those who have been match betting for 4+ years, do bookies have good offers going for the Olympics? It’s a major sporting event, but not really typical of betting sports (footy, horse racing).

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Betstars have bet £25 on the football outright and get £5 when they win a game.
I didn’t see an exchange market for this to lay it off.
But a very low risk was punting £25 on Brazil @1.9. They play teams like Iraq and South Africa … So a few free bets down the line almost guaranteed.
+0I imagine there are only a hand full of people using this site that were matchbetting during the last Olympics. I doubt if there will be many really good offers, but fortunately its not long until the footie season starts again. I wasn’t matchbetting this time last year but I am hoping there will be some good sign up offers for the start of the Prem league season. I have deliberately hung back on opening more accounts in the hope that this will be the case.

+0The last Olympics was in london so was possible that they went big due to it being here, there were loads of offers mainly for new accounts tho as it got alot of new people in to betting. Boosts on well known athletes were common and arbs were good, along time ago now tho.
+0I thought you were joking with that “Dope Insurance” offer there Shaun but I see it on the Paddy Power website. Expect them to get taken down by hackers in the next couple of weeks 😛
+0Ha ha and Trump will add Ireland to his Axis of Evil.
+0I must admit I too thought Shaun was joking about the paddy dope insurance offer, I was even thinking that he suggests it as an idea to paddys to see if he might earn himself a few quick for the idea.

I thought it was a joke too Chris, even says ‘Urine luck’ on their banner lol
+0Haha nice.
+0Piss funny from paddy!
+0I was hoping that there would have been a lot of offers for the Olympics. However my mate from Ladbrokes said they don’t have any big promotions planned for it but perhaps other book makers might I’m not sure. He just suggested waiting until the football season starts as that’s when the biggest offers will occur. I hope that’s of some use to you
+0@daveangle do you think your mate from Ladbrokes could ungub and unrestrict my account with them?
On a serious note, I’m hope lots of the bookies will have some good offers on for the start of the footie season.
+0Regretting getting on the Betstars offer and not laying Brazil. They’ve now drawn 0-0 with South Africa and Iraq! No free bets and the lay odds are ridiculous.
+1Same boat here albatross. Always knew it was a bit of a gamble. Probably a positive expectation but that doesn’t mean you won’t lose one or two here and there.
+0PP boost on Henrik Stenson to win the Men’s Golf 8.0 (lay currently swinging between 7.0-7.4). The event starts this Thursday.
Stenson’s form is superb right now. In addition, the following players are not taking part (WR in brackets):
Jason Day (1), Dustin Johnson (2), Jordan Spieth (3), Rory McIlroy (4), Adam Scott (8), Branden Grace (10), Louis Oosthuizen (14), Hideki Matsuyama (17), Charl Schwartzel (21), Shane Lowry (27)
I reckon 8.0 is real value here, even if you look to lay it off after a couple of rounds.
Disclaimer – this is a “tip” not a guarantee of profit!! YOU decide if you want to place a bet or not and do not moan at me if Stenson bombs 😉
