Will Hill ManU/Arsenal/Liverpool/ManC All 4 to score 3/1

  • Just had a message from William Hill promoting this offer:

    Maximium bet £20

So to win, all 4 teams must score withing 90 minutes.

    Bet £20 returns £80 (profit of £60)

As the matches don’t overlap you could do this sequentially.

You can currently lay BTTS on smarkets for the first match at 2.08.

so lay £20.20 to make back the original stake if the first match fails Liability £22.04

If that goes ok then the for the second match you’ll need to lay that
    £22.04 + the orginial £20

    (42.04/0.98)= £42.90

Currently BTTS can be layed at 2.02 for the second match so if things don’t change the liability will be £43.76

Means looking like £60 – £43.76 £16.24 risk free profit

(I hope, my first time trying one of these)

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

    Thinking about this more,

if the lay odds for the 2nd match remain at 2.02 you could actually lay £50 and get a guaranteed profit of £9 no matter the outcome?

    it that right?

win/win comes out as -£5.80 in my calculator

liability of the 2nd bet winning (43.76) + the first bet winning (22.04)would be over the £60 the initial bet would win you

Call me crazy but with liabilities of £22.04 and £43.76… Means you’ll have made a loss if this comes in??

… If the odds of BTTS is above evens in both matches, then odds of 4.0 for all four to score is not profitable.

Ah you need to add the loses, whoops. I’m almost getting the hang of it.

You know the phrase if it sounds too good to be true…

    Thats why i asked!

Yeah it was a good effort mate, but usually these sort of boosts are never profitable..

I’ve just checked the odds for BTTS in both matches. The odds in the Man U – Arsenal match are 2.06. The odds in the Liverpool – City match (assuming you mean the Capital One Cup and not the Premier League match on Wednesday) are only 1.78. This offer is indeed profitable!

On current lay odds it’s a £3 loss. So if the odds go down, great! If they go up (like some of you may have seen on the 138 treble today) it could be bad.

@Hatehorses, in regards to the 138bet why was this bad? I already placed the bet and laid it and therefore its fine?

I laid West Ham and left it to lay the double once that result was in. The lay odds for the remaining double on Betfair went from 2.86 yesterday when I checked to 3.5 just before the game which would have resulted in just about break even (with the added pain of having to extract from free bets) whatever the result. Had a bit of a panic and just put £30 on it to get a £10 loss or a £15 win. Thankfully it came in. Should have just laid the whole thing to begin with.

Ah right well yeah I laid it from the beginning so made no difference to me what the odds did

Same odds are on Ladbrokes as well. I’ve laid Man U Arsenal. Might just let it run from there.

In case anyone has misread this thread, this offer is profitable. Odds for BTTS in the two matches are 1.78 and 1.99, respectively. OP was confused as Liverpool play City in the league again on Wednesday.
