William Hill Bore Draw City v Spurs

  • With a lot of us waiting for City to win to get profit from our Acca it makes sense to cover a lot of options. William Hill offer money back up to £50 on correct scores if its 0-0.

    Currently 1-0 Tottenham is @15
    Lay is @14.5

£50 bet returns 76p profit (you need a liability of £699.24) but given that you actually profit and don’t make a loss and make £40 profit if its 0-0 (Assume 80% of £50 free bet)

You’d be stupid not to put this bet on, even if you can’t do the full £50 anything is better than nothing! Hopefully the lay odds don’t change!!

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Yeah I’ll get on it if theres money left in my William Hill account after the two races. Really cannot see it finishing 0-0 but as you said it provides additional cover if the accumulators fail.

Yeah exactly I can’t but for example people putting £5 free bet on the 0-0..you’re betting off backing a correct score line with £50 for say £2-£3 loss for a potential £40 profit. As you would extract more than that out the £5 free bet anyway, obviously it depends on money in bookies & smarkets though!

Bets like this are what makes it obvious to the bookie your a matched better. No one in the right mind would place £50 on Spurs to win 1-0

    Why not?

Well that is such a stupid thing to say. Please provide me with your evidence that backs up your suggesting no one would bet on Tottenham to win 1-0? Bookies would love a bet like that.

Yesterday with the horse racing its fine to throw £50 on a horse but not for a correct score? come off it. Maybe if this was a game in the Indian League or something like this, not one of the biggest games of the season.

£50 on a correct score is at 15/1 is not something a normal better does. Unless your account history shows you doing this on a regular basis from the time you open you account it is defo something which will stand out.

Is not what a normal better does? I think you’ll find lots of betters have different tactics, instead of backing lots of favourites for example, back lots of outsiders and eventually a big winner covers all the losses. So I don’t think you know what you’re talking about to be honest. Also, yes, my account show a lot of £50 bets on correct scores.

Would be interested to get others opinion on this to be honest, but as trying to describe above there are horse punters that instead of always backing favourites go for the long odds of 15/1 – 20/1 + because they do that they’re automatically a matched better? come off it!

    I put £25 on 1-0 Tottenham, got 13/13

Just an opinion that’s all but since I don’t know what am talking about you don’t need to listen to my opinion. I don’t know many normal people who can afford to bet £50 on a correct score on a regular basis hence the term not a normal better

Backing 1-0 for a side with the best defencive record in the league looks a decent strategy to me.

The bookie’s will love this bet in my opinion. They must make a killing on the correct score markets, and love people having a punt on the long odds, they have a much bigger edge on those.

I just don’t get how you can say not normal betters would put £50 on a correct score. You’d be surprised how many addicted gamblers and actual tactical punters throw their money about. But yes you’re opinion and therefore don’t do a bet like this!
