Just lay -1 on the normal handicap… unless Asian is significantly better odds

After 2 hours of working out my maths, I’ve come to the conclusion Man Utd -1.5.

Oh yes I’m giving away value for no reason -1 or -1.5 will do it.

    -1 laying at 1.34?

You need to lay -1.5 on the Asian Handicap market. -1 has different rules.

    No it doesn’t?

    Reading +1 market

    Lay United -1

Any other result than United winning by two or more will win on the exchange

    Under Reading +1, United -1 is 1.79
Under Asian Handicap, United -1 is 1.36

What is the difference between the two markets?

The Asian handicap is a massive arb before the boost, surely that won’t work?

I was thinking the same Orlandosteve. Can anyone give us the definitive lay?

On the Asian handicap market on BF Man Utd -1 is 1.36, and -1.5 is 1.79.What is the difference please?

if you back man utd -1 and man utd go on to win by one goal then you get your stake refunded. If you back man utd -1.5 and they win by one goal you lose your bet. It’s like a little bit of insurance (Draw no bet etc)

Sorry, I was talking about – 1 Asian Handicap. The problem with laying that is that it has slightly different rules – namely, if man Utd were to win by just one goal, you would not still win the lay – instead, the stake would be refunded to whoever’s bet you had matched. That’s why the odds are so much lower.

Man Utd – 1 (under Reading +1) would be fine to lay, as would Asian Handicap – 1.5.

    DONT DO ASIAN HANDICAP -1

    it’s different

If united win by 1 goal you will LOSE at William Hill and it will be a Push Refund at Betfair

    Basically 20 notes down

    Reading +1… LAY UNITED -1
