William Hill Odds Boost-McGregor to beat Alvarez

Boosted to evens/1.84Smark.

Can anyone that understands this “sport” explain if there are any differences between the markets as to what Hill class as a win and what smarkets class as a win? I don’t think there will be but would like to be sure.

I’m not going to bother with this one, the GP is not worth it and after doing the England Boost last night and winning into the bookies I feel 2 in a row may look bad, especially as I haven’t used William Hill for a while as no good promos.

Orlandosteve, looks like you used FreeBet calculations to work out the GB.. as matchedem said it’s only £1.66

Don’t understand how you can say WH have no good promos – every Saturday until the brought out this new High 5 thing, they offered money back 2nd on all Channel 4 races and they did that on the Breeders Cup as well. The Offer Club also offers Bet £10 Get £5 here and there too. One of my more profitable bookies.

I’ve never had any success with money back on second promos so stay away from them as not profitable for me so for me they don’t seem to offer a large variety of promos making them one of my less profitable bookies.

Max stake for me was £50,I had £40 in my account so put that on Laid at 1.85 on BF for £2.23.Didn’t know Smarkets were doing it :(

Sky Bet had a boost on McGregor to win in the first 4.0-5.0. I needed to bet £25 with them for bet club, I took what Is probably a big risk and definitely poor effective odds.

Had Alavarez won in the first I would have been -£110! I did some research on the fight and decided that that outcome was extremely unlikely, although it did take me longer than normal to get to sleep last night! In the end I was +£20.15+£5FB so happy days.

So if you only did those 2 offers you must have put a slightly random £45.30 on at hills- much better than most our limits.
And risked going £70.30 down if he hadn’t won.

That type of sky boost is better for using your freebet (especially if it’s higher odds creating a small arb u can lay). There’s normally safer ways of hitting the freebet, the mbs racing was a good chance this week to get there as part of other bets
