Just tested the theory of trying to get value from people laying these boosts. Put a £50 back bet on smarkets on Dortmund -1.5 @1.99 and someone took £20.41 of it fairly quickly. Only managed to get £12 on the boost @2.5 so quite nice that I can still get more on at an inflated price to lay later. Assuming Dortmund don’t drift like a barge that is

I’m pretty sure its getting hammered which is why everyone’s getting low stakes. I tried to get the on the over 3 goals one and it let me the first time, but after depositing it said the limit was hit.

I backed Dortmund 2+ on william hill for 50 @ 2.5.
Layed Dortmund -1.5 on Smarkets for 56.31 at avg 1.8034.

Is this right?

you should of layed for £51.03 for max returns if bet wins

Depends on how you want your bet balanced Ncl.

Current you are +30ish if they win by 2 or more. +5 if they don’t. But yes youve laid the correct market.

Also worth mentioning – even though it seems the traders have stopped taking bets on the winning by 3 goals, you can still get odds of 3.4 with them when you place the bet (it gets offered), which at 50 quid can be a risk free shot at a tenner and guaranteed 2-3 quid I think.

you hve layed your liability amount and not the suggested lay amount of 70 which wudda gave you 18 profit regardless of result. the way you have done it you make 25 if it wins and 5 if it loses

You should have laid £70.09 for a guaranteed £18.69.It looks like you have laid what the liability would be £56.31

This has confused me! (not difficult).
James says Dortmund – 1.5
Biscuit you say Dortmund – 1
so if Dortmund win 2 -0 then Hills pay, lay loses. Both BFEX & SMA
if Dortmund win 1 – 0 then Hills lose, what happens to lays?
