    This probably belongs in the newbies section so apologies but, will b365 notify you if you have a risk free bet on the next channel4 +1 race?

    I had £50 on Quest for more (which won)…but no notification from them..

    This is the first time I’ve picked the winner.

    Thanks

    sleepless there should be lots of choice for the next race, big field. You want to strike a balance. Placing the risk free bet on long odds will give you easy extraction, placing it on a horse close to 4/1 will give you best chance of hitting another free bet.

    Just put the back and lay odds into the calculator as a free bet and pick the one which you like.

    You will need to bet with your real money and will be refunded if you lose.

    You’re ahead of yourself though. Librisa Breeze hasn’t won yet!

    Mr Crispy.

    No you wont get a notifications always. If you had the winner then no prob though you will get the free bet.

    They do send a notification sometimes, but only if it is at the end of a day and they have sufficient time to get the message out. During races when they are coming every 30 minutes, don’t expect it.

    @sleepless if it wins you get a Risk Free Bet on the next Channel 4 race (3.40 York).
    Use the risk free calculator and enter £20 in the cash back field.

    What you put it on is up to you, but I would go for another horse at odds of over 5.0 because you might win another free bet.

    Just a bit of advice: I’ll always try and help out newbies and first timers, but you really shouldn’t put bets on if you don’t know what you’re going to do if it wins. Good luck with your selection.

    Hope it wakes up soon.

    Muthmir was 25/1 about when he was made a non-runner. Will that affect the price of 9/2 that I took on Limato before Muthmir withdrew?

    If my 365 horse wins the 3:40 am I entitled to a risk free bet at the 2:15 tomorrow?

    Thanks for reply. Point taken re. Librisa, but there’s not much time for a beginner to sort things out.

    Tried Limato this time @4.5, layed at 4.4. Oopps – just seen it has to be >5.

    See Betfair does same sort of thing

    Fog you’ll be fine. There’ll be no rule 4 deduction as the horse was over 14/1, but your liability on the exchange will be reduced – so you’ll probably make a slight profit.

    @quarimo yes that is correct

    @sleepless
    you have backed a horse at less than 4/1 so won’t qualify for a risk free bet.

    sleepless…..

    You need to sort yourself out better!

    Limato @ 4.5 will get you nothing on B365? It has to be 4/1+ or 5.0+.

    If you mean that you did 4.5 on betfair then you have to be careful as betfair go by SP price so if it shortens to less than 3/1 you won’t get a free bet. With betfair the bet is not for the next race, they just credit your free bet balance and you can use it on anything.

    Looked at him too Chris. Decided to skip the extra place offer this time. Watch him come 4th now.
