New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Sorry to hear that Andy.
Hopefully @matchbook-exchange can look into this for you?
Hi @roblea007,
I wouldn’t read too much into the percentage boost that the bookmaker is giving as it’s all about the comparative lay odds.
The example in my Sequential Laying guide is actually a 20% increase when compared to the lay odds, rather than comparing it to the bookmaker’s previous price… 9.00 (8/1) at the bookmaker and 7.50 lay odds at the exchange.
You’ll want an expected value of at least 10% when laying sequentially just to cover yourself in the event that the lay odds drift.
I hope that helps.
Thanks @jglover95, great to have you on board!
I would recommend using your own accounts as registering accounts under your wife’s name may raise red flags if you share the same details, like home address, IP address, etc.
The sign up offers are just the starting point, so you can still make plenty from bookmaker reload offers using your own accounts.
You’ll probably find there are a number of bookmakers you’ve yet to sign up to too. There are over 50 listed on my New Customer Offers page.
I hope that helps.
Yes, the ‘Free Bet – Stake not returned‘ setting works for that one @jglover95.
Some people prefer to use the ‘Risk-Free Bet‘ setting with it being a risk-free bet offer.
Either way though, the maths are the same, the calculator just displays the outcomes a little differently.
You should be able to find some thorough reviews online.
I can’t really comment on Betsson but I don’t recall any major issues with Betsafe when they were open to UK customers.
This is stated in their terms and conditions…
14.13 When player confirms his participation in a Promotion, any available Cash Balance will be used to wager first. Bonus Funds are not only used once your Cash Balance is exhausted or insufficient to meet the stake.
It’s a bit contradictory so I wouldn’t like to say either way for sure.

I’m sorry to hear this.
ProgressPlay operate under a number of brand names. 2kBet, BetDukes, BetNeptune, BetSteve, GatoBet, InfernoBet, InterBet, MapleBet, MobileWins, PriveWin, RoyalTigerBet, RubyBet, SponsioBet, Winissimo and WinstonBet to name a few.
Their sign up offer terms are terrible and certainly ring alarm bells. Free bet winnings need to be wagered 10 times and the maximum conversion from free bets to cash is £20-£30. This is why they’re not listed here on the blog.
Have you considered any other channels like submitting a complaint to IBAS?
I really hope it works out and you get your funds.
Hi Emma,
It’s always a little quiet between football seasons, though we don’t have long to wait now, just another couple of weeks.
I would say take a look at the New Customer Offers and see if there are any you haven’t tackled yet. There’s still plenty of horse racing you can bet on for any qualifying bets. It’s Goodwood Festival next week too (Tuesday 27th July 2021 – Saturday 31st July 2021), so that should bring a few offers.
I hope that helps!
Matt
Thanks for sharing, hopefully a few people got the invite.
You shouldn’t have anything to worry about Raven. You’ll find similar terms in most welcome offers. I’ve not heard of any issues with GentingBet either.
As great as Oddsmatcher’s are, the drawback is that they encourage you to take the best odds. If you take the best odds on a regular basis, it will likely flag you as a matched bettor and draw unwanted attention from the bookmaker.
So don’t be afraid to look for odds manually as that will help you take a variety of odds and should help you fly under the radar.
It’s less profitable in the long run @bettingbitz but it’s a viable way of going about things if you’d rather lock in the guaranteed profits.
