Yes @digger, you just need to enter what cash you expect to get back. So if you bet £20.00 and it’s a 50% refund, you would expect to extract 75% cash from the £10.00 free bet refund, so £7.50 would be your ‘cashback’ figure.

I’ve added a warning to the Free Bets page and also to the Royal Panda guide page. I’ve not removed them completely as I still think the offer has value and may appeal to some people, but obviously it’s important that they have all the facts so that they can make an informed decision on whether or not to get involved.

There are pros and cons to both exchanges, so it’s just a matter of personal preference. Some will prefer Betfair and others will prefer Smarkets. I’ll get a page sorted comparing the two.
With regards to the switch, I’ve received a fair amount of criticism in recent months following the technical difficulties Smarkets have suffered. Obviously they’re the cheaper option when you compare the commission rates, however, reliability is probably the most important criteria for newbies and that’s where Betfair stand out.
Don’t get me wrong though, I’m still a big fan of Smarkets.

Discussions regarding alternative sites and means of communication will not be tolerated on the forum, so I’ve removed a number of posts from this thread.
I appreciate that the forum is running slow, particularly big threads such as this one.
I’ve been working on some big changes to the site and a new forum is one of them. A freshened up version of the forum will go live tomorrow, which I’m hoping will run a fair bit quicker.
I will then be working on adding a voting system to the forum which will help showcase the top contributors and flag up any trouble makers!
