My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

It’s short for ‘UK Acquisition Offer’ which just means their welcome offer for new customers.

I’ve written a guide for the BetStars welcome offer here > https://matchedbettingblog.com/new-customer-offer/betstars/

You can find my welcome offer guides under the ‘New Customer Offers’ tab on the homepage.

The liability is the amount you stand to lose if your lay bet loses. You must have enough funds in your account to cover the liability of a lay bet at the time of placing it. Those funds will remain tied up until the outcome has been decided. You’ll either lose the liability if your lay bet loses or it will be returned to your balance plus the backer’s stake if your lay bet wins.

    I hope that helps Jake.

There may be an odd one or two but they tend to be limited and not much use.

Generally you have to pay a subscription, but with a service like OddsMonkey, you get a lot more for your money than just the OddsMatcher.

Yes ‘Brazil / No’ in the ‘Winner & Both Teams to Score’ market is the correct selection for laying that off @sparky.

There are certainly more opportunities now under the new voting system. The jury and public vote results can differ wildly, so the fact that they reveal the jury results first means the positions at the ‘halfway’ stage are often misleading.

Tonight was a prime example with Austria and Sweden being way out in front, only to drop out of the final running early with low public vote scores. That’s why Cyprus and Israel were still favourites at ‘halfway’ as they had always been the most likely to score well on the public vote.

There’s also the algorithm to consider, which is used when revealing the jury vote results. The algorithm is used to decide what order the results are revealed in, which is done to make the competition appear as close as possible for as long as possible.

It’s a contest that is ridiculed by many, but played correctly, there are definitely profitable opportunities there.

I imagine your rollover might be x6 your deposit and bonus, so £1,200.00.

My Bonus Rollover Strategy guide focuses on the Betsafe welcome offer which is similar, so you may find that useful…

With stake returned free bets, we can use the ‘Qualifying Bet’ or ‘Free Bet – Stake returned’ settings on the calculator. The maths are the same for both settings, they just display the results in different ways.

For a walk-through guide on how to tackle stake returned free bets, please see my Bonus Rollover Strategy page.

I think I’ve seen Unibet offers where we’ve had to bet exactly £20.00 before now @westmatch. Either way mate, it’s there in the terms.

I’m not sure why you find the terms misleading @westmatch. The terms clearly state that qualifying bets must be of an ‘exact’ amount. It’s not all that unusual to see terms of that nature.
