Beware Offers From TGP Group (138, SportPesa, BetEast, 12Bet, TLC Bet, Fun88)

  • They have changed the T&Cs of their “offers” which are extremely misleading and unfair (maybe the gutless gambling commission could evoke their promise on misleading bonus t&cs?)

Basically, where they do their offers eg, bet £15 on Man U at an enhanced price, you now have to bet EXACTLY £15. If you bet £10 or £20 you will not get any boost at all!!

Never come across t&cs like this ever before……beware!

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

I’m not sure why you find the terms misleading @westmatch. The terms clearly state that qualifying bets must be of an ‘exact’ amount. It’s not all that unusual to see terms of that nature.

Matt, in 4 years I’ve never seen this at all.
Up to a max bet yes but not this?

I think I’ve seen Unibet offers where we’ve had to bet exactly £20.00 before now @westmatch. Either way mate, it’s there in the terms.

Matt…”thinking youve seen it on Unibet” and saying that its common isnt true.
“Its there in the terms” doesnt excuse misleading t&cs
This “offer” is misleading and has never been done before!
Anyone could only afford £5 or want £100….if its a boost for exactly £15 then put a pop up window for it!!
The UKGC is trying to stamp out this….a punter puts £5 on this and doesnt get the boost because it has to EXACTLY be £15????
    Do me a favour!!

This group are notorious for trying to rob people at Cheltenham a couple of years ago… until the national press and tv got involved.

As long as we all know!!

If it’s written clearly in the terms, which are the bettors responsibility to read, then how is it misleading? Unusual maybe, but it’s not misleading.

The gambling commission don’t care, by their own admission they don’t police t&c – evidenced by your Cheltenham reference and their findings against this company which pretty much every betting company ignores.

A minimum amount isn’t even that unusual, yes the upper bet is unusual but if it’s still referenced in t&c….. and we don’t normally bet over the required amount for no reason then not much of an issue

Ok, no worries……will wait for the next few years to see similar t&cs as they have never happened before!!

The point of my original post is to be careful of these offers as they are (to me) misleading….obviously now just get on with it guys!
