This offer is only valid for the Exeter meeting horse races, scheduled to take place on Tuesday 17 January 2017, the Newbury meeting horse races, scheduled to take place on Wednesday 18 January 2017, and the Wincanton meeting horse races, scheduled to take place on Thursday 19 January 2017 (each a “Race”).
This promotion is only available once per Race per Customer.
Customers with no funds in their Sports Cash Account are not eligible for this promotion.
To be eligible for this offer, Customers must first place a qualifying bet.
A qualifying bet shall be the first real money (from Sports Cash Account) single Win or Each-Way bet on a Race. Where the qualifying bet is an Each-Way bet, the offer applies only to the “Win” part.
If your horse finishes second to the Starting Price (SP) Favourite at the Race, the Free Bet amount shall be credited to your Customer account within 24 hours of the settlement of your qualifying bet.
If there are Joint/Co SP Favourites in the Race, both shall be deemed as an SP Favourite.
If a Customer’s horse finishes in a dead heat for first place in the Race, the Customer shall not be eligible to be awarded any Free Bet.
The amount of the Free Bet awarded shall be equal to the amount of your qualifying bet.
The maximum amount of the Free Bet shall be £10.
The Free Bet may be used on any sports event with odds between 4/5 (1.80) – 7/1 (8.0).
The Free Bet shall expire 7 days after being credited and shall thereafter be forfeited.
Bets made prior to a withdrawal shall not be a qualifying bet.
Any winnings earned from Free Bets are credited into your Sports Cash Account, and are withdrawable. The Free Bet amount is not stake-returned.
Each Free Bet amount cannot be used in portions. For example, if a £10 Free Bet is used for a £5 bet, the unused portion, being £5, will be forfeited.
The Free Bet will always be used prior to real money. If a Customer elects to use a £10 Free Bet and is placing a total £20 bet, the total amount of the £10 Free Bet will be used and £10 will be drawn from the Sports Cash Account.
A Free Bet can be placed only on the “win” part of an Each-Way Bet. The “place” part may only be placed with funds from the Sports Cash Account. If the Customer does not have sufficient funds in his Sports Cash Account to place the “place” part of the Each-Way Bet, he cannot place an Each-Way Bet using a Free Bet.
10Bet’s general Terms and Conditions apply.

Not sure if I’m missing something with BOG, but is my understanding that it only applies if you back a horse at a price, and it goes on to win at a greater SP? Surely this happens fairly infrequently, and even when it does, you wouldn’t benefit from it in a 2nd place refund offer. Just seems like everyone seems to bang on about it quite a lot.

    So I backed a horse at 10/3. £10
I laid it at 4.5 for a small ql hoping to hit the money back 2nd

The horse won but drifted to 9/2. So with BOG I made £45 and the exchange loss was only £33.78

Bobster let me give you an example how BOG can be very profitable.
I was doing the Will Hill 5 offer today.
Wicked Willie and Three Musketeers both won at higher odds than when I backed them I profited nearly £100 even though they did not win by 5 Lengths.
Admittedly they are not very frequent and you of course need some luck but they can be a little gold mine.

I’ve avoided 10bet so far, in part because the welcome offer (50% deposit bonus up to £200) looks like a bit of a challenge and they don’t seem to be ‘mainstream’.

Any views / advice or preferably actual experience of the offer?

jimmy dont know much about the welcome offer, but they are decent with offers especailly recently. A few things currently on:

    1) various horse racing refunds up to £10 (they had faller assurance over weekend)
    2) tennis refunds if players loses in 5th set
    3) premier league payback where they refund all 10 premier league matches over a weekend based on a particular event. Some are unlikely, for example the away team to score first. But I’ve picked out a few where its probably 50/50 on the event happening and yet can get about £1.50 QL for a £10 FB. Example at weekend was either team to score in both halves…5 out of 10 games came in

I need to look more. I posted over Christmas when they did money back on a draw, but thought it was normally money back if 0-0
the qualifying losses were pretty poor on the Christmas offer though

    Wincanton today
The 2.45, 3.55 and 4.25 look decent races for this

Shame of the non runner in the 4.25 or that would been text book bad each way race
