188 Offers Sunday – Risk Free Approach
-
So 188 continue their slew of excellent offers with these 2 for Super Sunday.
Stake refund up to £50 if Defoe scores (and you lose!) In the Sunderland v Leicester match.
Stake refund up to £100 if there’s a red card in the Spurs v Man utd match.

Am I right in saying you can give yourself a risk free shot at profit with the following method. For simplification I’m inventing the odds here…
Back Leicester to win 1-0 at odds of 7, ensuring that your bet is a loser if Defoe does indeed score.
Let’s just say you can get lay odds of 8 for this which would give you a qualifying loss of £7.02 if betting the full £50.
You have in effect staked £7.02 on Defoe to score anytime to return £50 (assuming payout is in bonus money as per usual which in my opinion is as good as cash).
This is effective odds of 7.12 on defoe to score anytime. On bet fair he is likely to be around 3.5 to lay so whack your stake of 7.02 into the lay calculator with back odds of 7.12 and lay odds of 3.5 and you will get either a risk free shot of £25.06 if he scores or £7.06 guaranteed either way.
I know the odds are pretty useless at the moment but I’m pretty sure I’ve done my math’s right here, can anyone confirm before I commit tomorrow?
On a similar note you could do the red card offer the same way.
I’m really enjoying these 188 offers but feel I’ve had so many recently I’m probably going to be beaten with the gubbing stick before long!

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

It’s “Match Result and BTTS”
+0Best way is to do a score line that makes Liecester keep a clean sheet.
+0the terms only stats both teams to score, might be a mistake on their part.
If another sunderland player scored you would lose the BTTS bet at 188 but win at exchange, you would also win the defoe lay at exchange, or am i missing something?
+0Yep Dbb I am thinking the same. Only problem would be if Defoe scored but Leicester didn’t so yeah waiting until they scored first would work… if they don’t score though or even if they score late the odds on Defoe would be too high to lay
+0The correct score odds are so bad right now and I coudl see them not getting much better- if they don’t I am backing and laying BTTS NO for a £4 punt on Defoe to score at odds of 12.5 with the possibility to lay for risk free if Leicester score early enough
+0If you trust them Apollobet are doing the Defoe offer max £25. Pprob better odds than 188
+0Leicester 1-0 has gone from 7.8 earlier til a current 9.2. Dont think theres gonna be much in this with a back of 6.6. 2-0 and 3-0 are also miles out.

everything started moving quickly, assume it was team announcement or something?
got a risky £2.14 qualifier in on HT/FT market while things were moving, dont mind that for a potential free £25
+0Can you explain please Dbb. What happens if you HT/FT bet wins and Defoe also scores?
+0Both teams to score 2.03…lay 2.02 £50 is 27p loss, more than happy with that, unlikely that Defoe will score and Sunderland keep a clean sheet for my bet to lose but for a 27p punt its worth it.
+0Yeah Ryan I am contemplating that as well, but really can’t see Sunderland winning to nil so will be a last resort…
Pickle, he simply won’t get the refund for Defoe scoring so just have the qualifiying loss as he isnt laying Defore to score
+0For a 27p loss though, i’d rather do it and have a slim chance at £45+ profit than not at all. This gives me effective odds of over 165/1 for Defoe to score and Sunderland keep a cleansheet has to be value in that.
+0Pickle, i haven’t laid Defoe.
i went HT/FT Draw/Sunderland
i will either let it run for either a £2.14 loss or a refund if he scores or if it isn’t a draw at half time i will look at the lay odds for Defoe scoring (probably just lay £2.20ish to make it risk free)
+0That was my next pick, Ryan after the BTTS no odds went a bit pear shaped and the correct score odds went completely to shit.
+0Thanks guys. Odds went to 2.03/2.00 so ive gone for that 24p profit and chance of the £50 back. I like those odds.
