Fog, do you use a calculator to work these out or do you do it on paper?
By calculator I mean a spreadsheet or similar?

It’s just the same calculations as the main matched betting calculator but you have to do it twice – one for the win part and one for the place part and sum the qualifying losses. So it can be quite expensive to get on.

Also have to be very careful with non runners. With 16 runners the bookie will pay out 4 places and 5 with extra place. The exchange will pay out 4. But if there is a non runner the bookie changes its terms but the exchange doesn’t so you get no benefit.
