188bet up to £25 back if Ronaldo scores

  • Usual 188bet type of offer is up for the match tomorrow

Seems worth doing this week as there should be a good chance of Ronaldo scoring and the lay on him scoring should be low to make the offer risk free.

I managed to find a correct score involving Real Madrid not scoring for a £3 qualifying loss and will be laying £3 on Ronaldo scoring at betfair.

    Offer details below

If Cristiano Ronaldo scores a goal anytime during the Manchester City FC v Real Madrid UEFA Champions League match on Tuesday 26th April 2016 19:45 GMT+1, we will refund all losing First Goalscorer, Anytime Goalscorer, Correct Score, Half Time / Full Time and Both Teams to Score bets, up to a maximum of €/£25. The refunded stake will be credited as a free bet.

Promotion applies to First Goalscorer, Anytime Goalscorer, Correct Score, Half Time / Full Time and Both Teams to Score markets. The stake refund will be subject to a one (1) time rollover requirement at minimum odds of 1.90 before any withdrawals can be made.

The problem isn’t so much him scoring but whether he actually plays. He is 50/50 at the mo having been injured two games ago. I dont think I’d risk it yet….

Hmmm well no biggie if it doesn’t happen, £3 down if it doesn’t and a reasonable qualifier if he does play, cheers for the info, I hadn’t seen the injury news

Yeah wait and see starting line up, but yes agree this is a good one as odds on Ronaldo to score anytime will be quite low so definitely nice to make it risk free or go for the guaranteed approach depending on QL etc.

Just a heads-up to anyone who might be laying Ronaldo to score hoping to make this risk free: only _losing_ bets are refunded.

For example, if you found a great match for a qualifying bet of Draw/Draw and you win that bet, then you have to hope that Ronaldo doesn’t score. Probably better to bet on something guaranteed to lose if he scores, for instance a correct score of X – 0.

Edit: Hmm, actually I think I might have got this wrong. If Ronaldo doesn’t score, how will we get the bonus?

Can someone with a brain help me out here please?

Ok, just to wrap this up, I think my first assumption was correct, you should try to pick a qualifying bet that excludes the possibility of Ronaldo scoring.

However the current lay odds on Ronaldo scoring are 5.3, which are far too high to make it worthwhile.

John you are correct, however, I think most people were already aware of this you need to back a score line which see’s City keep a cleansheet i.e 0-0 1-0 2-0 etc…and those lay odds of 5.3 aren’t correct there is still a while before the match they will drop a lot.

But from experience those odds rarely do come close mainly due to the abysmal odds 188 offer on everything. I’ve looked in to about 5 of these offers so far and never found a decent match resulting in less than a £5 qualifying loss so I’ve avoided. Quite a few have come in though and Ronaldo scoring is always highly likely.

yeah the odds are always shocking, it’s why i got my qualifier in early (didnt know Ronaldo playing was an uncertainty though!)

This one seems decent because it should be fairly easy to make it risk free by laying Ronaldo, also bear in mind the £25 you get back is bonus cash rather than a free bet and you can easily roll it over by just doing the next offer.

Think im on for roughly £18 back or a 50p loss.
