2 Places – Just What Is It?

  • Hi,

I was looking around the Coral site and I noticed that the NFL Conferences have 2 Places for outright winner. But what does this mean?

I have Googled it and 3 explanations – all of them very different

    1. It is for Eachway Betting (But this bet has no eachway option)

    2. If the team you pick comes second you still win – seems unlikely

    3. If the team you pick comes second you get your stake back.

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

It’s a league format, so ‘2 places’ would probably require your selected team to finish in the top two league positions at the end of the season.

    Thanks,

If my team finish second is that considered a winner at the same odds as finishing first. I phoned Coral and they weren’t sure!

I emailed them and couldn’t get a response.

Paying out on second place sounds far to unrealistic based on those odds.

Could it be as simple please as they pay out in two places because they have two conferences? There is a winner in each conference who then play in the Superbowl.

That would give you two conference winners.

Hello, that is not the issue because I am only betting on one conference.
